FlahaX—a Python package for formulating hydroponic and fertigation nutrient solutions. FlahaX starts with two practical inputs: • the crop nutrient target • the actual water analysis It then evaluates the fertilizer-salt library and calculates a non-negative combination, in grams per litre, that meets the target as closely as possible. This is not a replacement for agronomic judgement. It is a transparent calculation layer to help agronomists, growers and developers review formulations more consistently and understand the nutrient balance behind every recipe. The first operational hardening review has also been completed and resolved in the project repository. It strengthened validation, salt eligibility and formulation safeguards. 🤝 A look back at a busy week in Prague and Hungary 🤝 Last week we visited the Ministry of Agriculture in Prague and the EU Agrifood Dataspace Workshop in Hungary 🇭🇺 Over the week, we have been traveling across the region to sync with key institutional and industry leaders, starting with highly productive meetings at the Ministry of Agriculture in Prague to present in front of the Zambian delegation before heading to Budapest for the European Agrifood Dataspace workshop organized by AKI-ITE, MGPE, and MAPÁ. The main focus in Budapest was the European Data Strategy and its future impact on the Hungarian market, where it became clear that this ecosystem is a major strategic priority going forward. An interesting note was that data becoming a greater resource than arable land itself, because in this changing environment, it is a vital tool that will allow profitable and vital production. 👏 A massive shoutout to Miklos Maroti for an incredibly moving and inspiring presentation on the current state of the market and the critical role platforms like AgroVIR play in data management and access. 🛰️ We already have experience in this space through our ESA project on Data Cubes, and we are fully ready to collaborate on building these shared, interoperable data ecosystems in the future. #Agrifood #AgriTech #EuropeanDataStrategy #AgroVIR #DigitalTransformation #SustainableAgriculture

Proud moment in my innovation journey! 🌱🚀 Our invention has been published as an Indian Patent Application: “Modular Predictive Micro-Ecosystem Simulation Apparatus for Real-Time Temporal and Spatial Evaluation of Agricultural Xenobiotic Compatibility.” Being listed as an inventor on this work is a meaningful experience and a reminder that innovation happens when different fields come together. This work combines agricultural engineering, microfluidics, biological sensing, hyperspectral imaging, edge computing, and predictive simulation to explore safer and more intelligent approaches to evaluating agricultural chemicals. 🌿 Learning Beyond the Classroom | Industry Exposure in Aromatic Plants 🌿 Date: 25/09/2026 Today was another valuable learning experience for us as MBA Agribusiness Management students of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University. We had the opportunity to visit the Centre for Aromatic Plants, Selaqui, Dehradun, where we gained practical insights into the world of aromatic plants, their cultivation, processing, value addition, and commercial potential. 🌍 Faire du froid avec du chaud ? Water Horizon le fait en continu depuis le 1er août ! Water Horizon, membre du groupe Eren Low-Carbon Buildings, vient de franchir un cap avec son installation Low Heat to Cold, ou LH2C, à Bessières, près de Toulouse. Depuis 1 mois et demi, la solution a permis de refroidir une serre maraîchère des Paysans de Rougeline en valorisant la chaleur fatale d’une unité de valorisation énergétique opérée par SUEZ, située à quelques centaines de mètres. 👉 Le principe ? Transformer une chaleur qui aurait autrement été perdue en froid utile. Grâce à sa batterie thermique LH2C, Water Horizon démontre qu’il est possible de : ✅ valoriser une ressource énergétique locale et disponible ; ✅ produire du froid bas carbone ; ✅ réduire la consommation d’électricité liée à la réfrigération ; ✅ créer une boucle énergétique circulaire entre industrie et agriculture.
