𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞? Because citrus juice production is the heartbeat of the citrus value chain. Today, that chain is under growing pressure. Citrus greening (HLB) and Citrus Black Spot (CBS) threaten fruit availability, quality, and long-term supply stability worldwide. 👉 Presenting our work at this high-level industry event helped highlight: ▪️ the urgency of protecting citrus production; ▪️ the role of biotechnology and early detection in preventing pest outbreaks; ▪️ the need to align research efforts with real industry challenges and priorities.
