It is a proud moment to share that our "Autonomous greenhouse System" project was selected as a finalist at the PALS innoWAH 2024-2025 Grand Finale at IIT Madras. We presented our "Autonomous Greenhouse System." It is an IoT solution engineered to maximize crop yield with minimal human intervention. Our system creates a self regulating, controlled environment using an ESP32 microcontroller. It actively monitors and automatically adjusts critical parameters, such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and nutrient delivery, to maintain a perfect equilibrium for plant growth. All data is streamed to a web based dashboard for real time monitoring. I am immensely grateful to my teammates for their hard work and dedication throughout this journey. La fertilité des fleurs est soutenue par : ✔️ un microclimat stabilisé (HR, ventilation, luminosité), ✔️ une fertigation ajustée (équilibre N/K pour favoriser la nouaison), ✔️ un suivi sanitaire strict pour éviter toute perte de potentiel productif. Le passage floraison → nouaison se traduit déjà par des grappes de fruits denses, bien positionnés et d’un développement uniforme — un indicateur direct d’une conduite culturale maîtrisée. Nous entrons désormais dans la phase stratégique “pré-harvest”, avec un pilotage centré sur : 📈 la gestion du calibre (K, Ca, maintien EC), 💧 la régularité hydrique pour éviter éclatement ou déformations, 🛡️ le monitoring ravageurs-maladies à seuils bas, 🫐 le suivi fermeté/Brix pour programmer les premiers lots. Saison après saison, ce sont ces détails techniques qui construisent la performance. I found this paper so insightful. AI has the potential to make sustainable food production so much better - if only it reaches the right persons. This study demonstrates how stitching together a set of well-established, open-source tools can make farmer life so much easier (I write "stitching" but I can only imagine the years of hard work behind this tool). This is truely inspirational and a motivation to make more open source-tools available to end-users.
