Excited to Share Our Recent Conference Papers from Dr. Athyna Cambouris’s Lab!! Our peer-reviewed conference papers published by Wageningen Academic Press (Brill) is now available online. These studies highlight innovative data-driven approaches in precision agriculture, integrating AI, remote sensing, and soil analytics for sustainable crop management. 1): AI-Enhanced Potato Yield Assessment Using Sentinel-2 Imaging Key Insight: This study applied AI and Sentinel-2 multispectral imagery to assess pre-harvest potato yields across four commercial fields in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Among three tested machine learning models, Random Forest achieved the best performance (RRMSE = 13.8%, RMAE = 11.3%). Results confirm the potential of integrating AI and satellite data for accurate yield assessment in digital agriculture.
