India's agri-tech sector — bringing finance and technology to the country's largest employer. Agriculture employs a huge share of India's workforce, yet remains one of the least formalized sectors financially. Agri-tech is starting to change that with real finance implications. → Digital lending platforms specifically for farmers are using satellite imagery and weather data combined with AI to assess crop-based creditworthiness — a completely different underwriting model from traditional collateral-based agricultural loans → Agri-commodity price risk management (hedging against price volatility for crops) is becoming a specialized finance skill as more farmers and agri-businesses gain access to structured pricing tools → Supply chain finance for agri-businesses — helping farmers get paid faster while giving buyers extended payment terms — is a growing fintech niche addressing a decades-old cash flow problem in Indian agriculture For finance students, agri-fintech combines genuine social impact with real technical complexity — commodity risk, alternative credit scoring, and rural financial inclusion all in one sector that's historically been underserved by formal finance. Would agri-tech finance be an area you'd consider, given its social impact angle alongside the technical complexity? #AgriTech #IndiaGrowth #FinancialInclusion #FinanceCareers #KNCreatives

PLANT PARALYSIS. The project looks ready. Equipment has been discussed. Capacity has been defined. Technology has been identified. Vendors are available. So why isn't the project moving? Because a CBG project is not created by putting individual pieces together. It has to connect : FEEDSTOCK. PROCESS. SITE. UTILITIES. ENGINEERING. INFRASTRUCTURE. OFFTAKE. EXECUTION. When these elements are considered separately, the project can look complete on paper while critical decisions remain unresolved. That is what we call Plant Paralysis. Not necessarily a technology problem. Not necessarily an equipment problem. Often, the problem begins with a project that has not yet been fully understood, integrated and engineered. At KEC Agritech, our approach is built around connecting the entire project from feasibility and engineering to PMC, EPC, execution and commissioning. Because the objective isn't simply to have a CBG plant on paper. The objective is to build a project that can actually move forward. 𝐀 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 To the human eye, a photo of a grain sample is just that — a photo. To a trained model, it's a dense grid of information: thousands of pixels, each contributing to a decision about colour, shape, texture and defect probability. The shift we're most excited about at AgriQ isn't just detecting defects. It's turning a single image into a structured data point — one that can be compared across lots, tracked over time, and connected to procurement and pricing decisions. A photograph becomes a record. Others begin a new conversation. At 𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in Bali, Christopher Do, CEO of NanoViz and CTO of BSB Nanotechnology, presented the 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐧 approach to an international audience of researchers, growers, technology developers and industry participants. The presentation focused on a practical question facing controlled-environment agriculture in tropical lowlands: How can we make 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 under demanding heat, nutrient and resource conditions? EcoReson brings together two complementary technologies: - 𝐄𝐂𝐎 𝐎𝐊 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚 - rice husk-derived colloidal nano silica developed by BSB Nanotechnology. - 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 - NanoViz's frequency-based technology applied within the EcoReson approach. Together, they form an 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞-𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝-𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. The value of presenting EcoReson at AGRICO 2026 was not simply in explaining the technology. It was in putting the concept in front of a research and industry audience, inviting questions, testing assumptions and opening the door to the next stage of validation. 🏆 That conversation was strengthened when Christopher's presentation received the 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 in the session “𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.” For NanoViz, the recognition matters because it reflects growing interest in how frequency technology can be integrated with material science and agricultural practice, rather than developed in isolation. The next step is not more presentation slides. It is more field validation, more collaboration, and more evidence. We thank the AGRICO 2026 organisers, session chairs, researchers and participants for the thoughtful engagement and technical discussion in Bali. EcoReson has moved from concept to conversation. Now the work continues. Interested in exploring EcoReson for controlled-environment agriculture, field validation, or technology collaboration? 🌱 From Data Science to Agricultural Innovation: my first project I’m proud to share the project I developed as part of my Master’s in Data Science, Data Analysis & AI at Start2Impact — a project that was awarded 100/100. I wanted to go beyond the technical aspects of Data Science and explore a question that strongly interests me: How can AI and data analysis contribute to making agriculture more resilient, productive and sustainable? This led me to develop AgriBioAI, an original case study focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT sensors and drones to support the targeted use of biostimulants. The idea is to collect and integrate environmental, soil, climatic, crop and historical production data to identify water, thermal and nutritional stress at an early stage, and then use AI to support more targeted decisions on biostimulant application. What I found most valuable in this project was the opportunity to combine data analysis with creative problem-solving: starting from a global challenge such as climate-related pressure on agricultural productivity and designing a possible technological approach to address it. The project also made me appreciate even more how interdisciplinary this field is — bringing together Data Science, AI, agronomy, biotechnology, IoT and agricultural innovation. This is the kind of direction I would like to continue developing: using data and emerging technologies not only to analyse problems, but to imagine and design new solutions for agriculture. 🚀 This project is one step in my journey toward combining scientific knowledge, data-driven thinking and innovation in R&D. #DataScience #ArtificialIntelligence #DataAnalysis #ResearchAndDevelopment #AgriTech #Agriculture #Biostimulants #MachineLearning #AgriculturalInnovation #Sustainability #Innovation #AIinAgriculture

🌍 VeggieMon : A Global Plant Health Platform Proud to highlight VeggieMon, an open-access digital platform developed by Kisan Care Pvt. Ltd. for the World Vegetable Center (#WorldVeg), Taiwan. Today, the platform brings together: 🔹 ~10,000 pathogen records 🔹 30+ vegetable crops 🔹 Data covering 77 countries 🔹 Pathogen, host and geographic distribution information 🔹 Pest and disease surveillance and outbreak data 🔹 Diagnostic and crop protection information 🔹 Decision-support resources for plant health management The strength of VeggieMon is not simply the volume of data, it is the way the information is organized and converted into practical decision-support intelligence. Researchers, plant protection specialists, extension professionals and other authorized users can use the platform to understand what pathogens are present, where they occur, which crops they affect, and what management approaches can be considered. For Nepal, this type of digital plant-health infrastructure has significant potential. I believe #NARC (Nepal Agricultural Research Council) and Nepal’s plant protection and extension institutions could explore the future introduction and integration of platforms such as VeggieMon into Nepal’s national pest and disease surveillance, diagnostics, research and extension ecosystem. With Nepal’s diverse agro-ecological zones, increasing movement of planting materials and changing pest and disease patterns, having a structured digital plant-health information system could strengthen the connection between: Field → Surveillance → Research → Diagnosis → Advisory → Management Technology developed from Nepal that is now supporting a global agricultural knowledge ecosystem is something we should be proud of. 🔗 Explore VeggieMon: veggiemon.worldveg.org #KisanCare #VeggieMon #WorldVeg #WorldVegetableCenter #NARC #NepalAgriculture #PlantHealth #DiseaseSurveillance #DigitalAgriculture #AgriTech #AgriculturalInnovation #CropProtection

Many people ask me this exact question when they see indoor farms with vacant planting sites. “Why not fill every slot? Even if each lettuce gets a little smaller, total yield should go up, right?” This is one of the most common misconceptions in CEA. Plant density directly drives light competition, airflow, humidity and disease pressure. Pack too tight, and you lose uniform growth, trigger botrytis, and crash harvest quality. Total marketable yield — not just plant count — is what makes the farm profitable. What’s your take? 1. Would you prioritize higher plant count over consistent crop quality in vertical farming? 2. What’s the biggest hidden cost you’ve seen from overcrowding indoor leafy greens? One agricultural drone, but very different needs across different markets. 🌍 As we explore more international markets, one thing becomes increasingly clear: Agricultural UAV productivity cannot be evaluated in exactly the same way everywhere. In Europe, contractors may focus more on: • cost per hectare • difficult terrain • labor efficiency • operational compliance In Latin America, the key questions may be: • hectares per day • large-scale productivity • fewer refilling cycles • fleet efficiency In Southeast Asia, applications can be very different again: • rice fields • plantations • fragmented farmland • difficult ground access And in Australia & New Zealand, I’m particularly interested in applications involving: • large and remote farms • fertilizer and seed spreading • labor reduction • pasture and hill-country operations This is also why, when evaluating our HF-T150, I don’t think the discussion should stop at: 180L spraying capacity Up to 200kg spreading capacity The more important question is: What problem does a high-capacity agricultural UAV actually solve in each market? I’d be very interested to hear from agricultural contractors, drone operators and agronomists: What is the biggest operational challenge in your country? #AgriculturalDrone #PrecisionAgriculture #Agritech #UAV #FarmTechnology #AgriculturalMachinery #Australia #NewZealand
