Over 36 hours at KIGAI 2026, my teammate and I built KhetOS—an IoT-focused AgriTech prototype. KhetOS is designed to help farmers make better sense of field data through practical alerts around weather risks, soil conditions, irrigation, and spray safety. I worked on connecting IoT sensor-data workflows, backend alert logic, and a React + TypeScript dashboard. We also explored offline-first, multilingual, and explainable alert features—because the goal was not just to show data, but to make it understandable. It is still a work in progress, especially when it comes to live sensor integration. But building it under a 36-hour deadline taught me a lot about prioritising features, solving problems quickly, and turning an idea into a working prototype. I’m grateful to have received a Certificate of Excellence at the KIGAI 2026 Grand Finale. A big thank you to my teammate for the collaboration and support throughout the build. 🌾 **From an Idea to a Full-Scale Agritech Business Model in 24 Hours – FarmFusion AI** 🚀 Excited to share that my team participated in the **FarmFusion 24-Hour Hackathon**, where we built **FarmFusion AI**—an AI-powered agritech platform designed to help farmers increase productivity while creating a scalable digital business ecosystem. Instead of building just a prototype, we designed **FarmFusion AI as a complete business model** with farmer onboarding, subscription plans, commission-based revenue, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making. ### What we built * 🌱 **AI-powered Crop Yield Prediction** using **Random Forest Regression**. * 📊 **Farmer Management System** with farm registration and land-based categorization. * 💳 **3-Tier Subscription Model** (Small, Medium, and Large Farmers) with commission-based pricing. * 📈 **Business Analytics Dashboard** for revenue, transactions, payouts, and performance reports. * 🔔 **Real-Time Notification Center** for registrations, payouts, model updates, and system alerts. * 📂 **Dataset Upload & Validation Pipeline** with automated preprocessing using **Pandas** and **NumPy**. * ⚡ **FastAPI Backend** integrated with a **React + Vite** frontend for a seamless user experience. ### AI & Machine Learning Our platform incorporated machine learning to make agriculture more data-driven by analyzing factors such as rainfall, temperature, humidity, soil pH, and NPK values to predict crop yield. **ML Models explored and implemented:** * **Random Forest Regression** for accurate crop yield prediction. * **Decision Tree Regression** as a baseline comparison model. * Data preprocessing, validation, and feature engineering to improve prediction quality. ### My contribution As a **Full-Stack Developer**, I contributed to: * Building the **React + Vite** admin dashboard. * Developing **FastAPI** backend APIs. * Implementing data cleaning and validation pipelines using **Python, Pandas, and NumPy**. * Integrating frontend, backend, and ML components into a working end-to-end application. This hackathon reinforced that great products are built by combining **AI, software engineering, and business strategy** to solve real-world problems. During the visit, participating founders presented their innovative solutions and engaged in direct technical discussions and networking sessions with Tanmiah’s team. The discussions provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, explore emerging technologies, and identify practical solutions that could contribute to the continued development of Saudi Arabia’s agritech and food-production ecosystem. The visit reflects Tanmiah | تنمية’s commitment to supporting local entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology-driven development. Several promising areas for potential future collaboration were identified through the discussions. Instead of building just a prototype, we designed **FarmFusion AI as a complete business model** with farmer onboarding, subscription plans, commission-based revenue, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making. ### What we built * 🌱 **AI-powered Crop Yield Prediction** using **Random Forest Regression**. * 📊 **Farmer Management System** with farm registration and land-based categorization. * 💳 **3-Tier Subscription Model** (Small, Medium, and Large Farmers) with commission-based pricing. * 📈 **Business Analytics Dashboard** for revenue, transactions, payouts, and performance reports. * 🔔 **Real-Time Notification Center** for registrations, payouts, model updates, and system alerts. * 📂 **Dataset Upload & Validation Pipeline** with automated preprocessing using **Pandas** and **NumPy**. * ⚡ **FastAPI Backend** integrated with a **React + Vite** frontend for a seamless user experience. ### AI & Machine Learning Our platform incorporated machine learning to make agriculture more data-driven by analyzing factors such as rainfall, temperature, humidity, soil pH, and NPK values to predict crop yield. **ML Models explored and implemented:** * **Random Forest Regression** for accurate crop yield prediction. * **Decision Tree Regression** as a baseline comparison model. * Data preprocessing, validation, and feature engineering to improve prediction quality. ### My contribution As a **Full-Stack Developer**, I contributed to: * Building the **React + Vite** admin dashboard. * Developing **FastAPI** backend APIs. * Implementing data cleaning and validation pipelines using **Python, Pandas, and NumPy**. * Integrating frontend, backend, and ML components into a working end-to-end application.
