KPMG US talks about the shift from AI “decision support” to connected decision ecosystems - where sensors, drones, weather, automation, field data, and AI start working together instead of sitting in separate tools. That’s what made AgrixAI interesting for us at Musemind. The challenge wasn’t adding more intelligence. It was making that intelligence useful. For teams building in Agri AI, AgriFinTech, FarmTech, Agri SaaS, precision agriculture, insurance, payments, and marketplaces, that’s where the real product challenge starts. We like to work the same way - not as a one-off vendor, but as a long-term design partner that grows with the product and the business. 🚀 Participated in the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2026 by ISRO × Hack2Skill — and walked away with a lot more than a certificate. This was my first hackathon. I chose Problem Statement 6: AI-Driven Crop Type, Moisture Stress Detection and Irrigation Advisory — a real-world geospatial AI challenge using satellite data from Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2. What I built over the course of this submission: → A satellite data pipeline using Google Earth Engine to extract NDVI, NDWI, NDMI and SAR features across a full crop growing season → A crop type classification model trained on multi-month spectral time-series data → A moisture stress detection model (97% accuracy on test set) using both optical and radar indices → An irrigation advisory engine that outputs an exact water depth in mm, factoring in crop stage, soil moisture deficit and a live 7-day rainfall forecast → A FastAPI backend with Celery + Redis for async processing, and an interactive satellite dashboard built with Leaflet.js and Tailwind CSS We didn't make the Grand Finale shortlist. The crop classifier's accuracy was limited by the size of our ground truth dataset — something I understand clearly in hindsight and would approach differently next time. But this project taught me something that no course module does: the difference between code that runs and a system that's actually right. I spent as much time verifying outputs as I did building them — and that shift in mindset is worth more than the outcome. Thank you ISRO and Hack2Skill for putting together a hackathon that pushed participants to solve problems that genuinely matter. En tant que responsable informatique de l' ARRDHOR CRITT Horticole, ce sujet me parle un peu ... On met volontiers en avant les nouveaux équipements de labo, les capteurs ou les essais sous serre. Un serveur, soyons honnêtes, c’est tout de suite moins spectaculaire sur une photo. Et pourtant, derrière une grande partie de nos activités, il y a de la donnée : résultats d’essais, mesures climatiques, protocoles, formulations, documents techniques, données confidentielles de partenaires… Mon rôle, sur ce volet-là, c’est justement de faire en sorte que toute cette matière reste disponible, sauvegardée, sécurisée et maîtrisée. Le renouvellement de notre infrastructure informatique, mené avec Koesio, est donc un vrai investissement de fond pour le CRITT Horticole. Pas le plus visible, mais clairement l’un de ceux qui permettent à tout le reste de fonctionner sereinement. Et quelque part, c’est aussi ça la R&D : produire de bonnes données… et éviter de les perdre 👉 Je vous partage l’article du CRITT Horticole sur le sujet.
