In December 2022, on the Earthshot Prize stage in Boston, Prince William announced a winner that made India sit up. A startup from Telangana called Kheyti, awarded one million pounds for an invention with the humblest possible name. A greenhouse in a box. The story behind it is a masterclass in how to build for real people. Before writing a single business plan, founders Kaushik Kappagantulu, Sathya Raghu, Ayush Sharma and Saumya Sahay spent six months travelling across India, talking to close to 1,000 farmers. What they heard repeatedly was the sound of climate change hitting the smallest farms hardest. Unpredictable rain, scorching heatwaves, pest attacks worsening with every season. India's roughly 100 million smallholder farmers, among the poorest people on the planet, were absorbing the full force of a crisis they did not create. Kheyti's answer, launched in 2015, was a greenhouse redesigned for exactly these farmers. Modular, simple, and about 90 percent cheaper than a standard greenhouse, sized to fit a fraction of a small plot. The numbers it produced sound like fiction. Crops inside need up to 98 percent less water than those grown outside. Yields rise as much as seven times. Farmer incomes more than double, and Kheyti pairs every unit with training and support so the technology actually works in the field, not just in the brochure. The Earthshot Prize, dubbed the Eco Oscars, put the startup on the world map, and Prince William has even served food grown in a Kheyti greenhouse at a London event. Since the win, Kheyti has grown five times over, working toward a goal of 50,000 farmers with greenhouses in the coming years. Climate change is a giant problem. Kheyti's answer fits in a box, and that is exactly why it works. Save this post and share it with someone who believes Indian innovation can heal the planet. #Kheyti #EarthshotPrize #AgriTech #ClimateAction #StartupStories #IndianBusiness #UntoldStories #DecodingMedia #Farmers #IndiaFacts

Water-Soluble Fertilizers: A Complete PDF Guide Request Sample Copy: https://lnkd.in/dDbfAHdT Water-Soluble Fertilizers (WSF) are nutrient blends that dissolve fully in water and are delivered through fertigation (drip or sprinkler irrigation) or foliar sprays, allowing crops to absorb nutrients quickly and efficiently with minimal waste. This precision improves nutrient-use efficiency and boosts yield per hectare. Key Growth Drivers: Rising cultivation of horticultural and high-value crops, alongside growing use of drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, supported by government policies promoting balanced fertilizer use Increasing farmer interest in precision agriculture, especially as smaller landholdings push growers to maximize output while controlling input costs Continued innovation in fertilizer formulations, including fully soluble NPK blends and chelated micronutrient products that improve crop response Broader adoption of fertigation and foliar feeding techniques, which apply nutrients more accurately and reduce losses compared to traditional soil application A general industry shift away from conventional fertilization toward more targeted, efficient nutrient delivery, particularly in high-value and horticultural farming Expansion of micro-irrigation infrastructure, greenhouse farming, and rising investment in smart agriculture technologies #WaterSolubleFertilizers #Fertigation #PrecisionAgriculture #SmartFarming #NPKFertilizer #DripIrrigation #FoliarSpray #SustainableAgriculture #CropNutrition #Horticulture #MicroIrrigation #AgriTech #NutrientManagement #FarmProductivity #SpecialtyFertilizers

You found the problem in the field. Now what? You can see the stressed crop. You can photograph the disease. You can fly the drone. You can mark the affected area. But can you tell a farmer exactly how many hectares are affected? Can you turn that finding into training data? Can you give a buyer evidence behind the claim? Can you keep that field intelligence useful beyond the original inspection? That is the problem we are tackling with Rigo Studio. In this walkthrough, I’m showing how agricultural professionals are using Rigo Studio to turn imagery into measurable field data, annotations, vegetation analysis, AI training datasets and evidence that can connect to a Digital Crop Passport. The important part is that Rigo Studio is not just another dashboard for looking at imagery. It is designed to help turn what you observe in the field into data you can measure, export, reuse and verify. And because it runs on your device, you don't need to upload every image to a cloud platform and wait for processing. If you work in agriculture, agronomy, drones, research or agricultural data, this walkthrough is worth watching. The Evolution of Agriculture: From Traditional Farming to Modern Agriculture Agriculture has never remained the same. From manually preparing fields and depending heavily on rainfall to using precision irrigation, drones, satellite imagery, AI and data-driven decision-making — agriculture has continuously evolved with technology, science and changing farmer needs. 1. Traditional Agriculture Earlier, farming was largely dependent on: • Human and animal labour • Traditional tools • Local seed varieties • Rainfall and basic irrigation • Farmer experience and inherited knowledge Productivity was highly dependent on weather conditions and manual efforts. 🚜 2. Mechanisation The introduction of tractors, cultivators, seed drills, harvesters and modern farm machinery significantly reduced manual labour. Mechanisation helped farmers: • Cover larger areas in less time • Improve field preparation • Achieve more uniform sowing • Reduce operational dependency on labour • Improve overall farm efficiency 💧 3. Development of Irrigation Agriculture gradually moved from rainfall-dependent farming towards controlled irrigation. Canals, tube wells, sprinklers and drip irrigation allowed farmers to manage water more efficiently. Drip and sprinkler systems particularly helped in: • Improving water-use efficiency • Delivering water closer to the crop root zone • Reducing unnecessary water loss • Supporting fertigation • Improving crop growth under water-limited conditions 🧪 4. Scientific Agriculture The next major development was the shift towards understanding the crop scientifically. Soil testing, nutrient management, improved seed varieties, pest scouting, integrated pest management and scientific crop nutrition made farming more evidence-based. 5. Precision Agriculture Today, technology allows farmers to manage fields with much greater precision. GPS, GIS, drones, satellite imagery, sensors and digital farm records can help identify: • Crop stress • Water stress • Nutrient deficiencies • Pest and disease hotspots • Variability within different parts of a field This creates an important shift: From treating the entire field equally → to managing the field according to its actual requirements. 7. The Future — Sustainable & Regenerative Agriculture The future of agriculture cannot be measured only by yield. The real development of agriculture will be when technology and traditional farming knowledge work together to create systems that are productive today and sustainable for future generations. Agriculture is not just evolving with technology. It is evolving with knowledge. And the biggest transformation will happen when innovation reaches the farmer at the field level. #Agriculture #AgriTech #PrecisionAgriculture #SmartFarming #SustainableAgriculture #IndianAgriculture #Farmers #AgriInnovation #13Day #ModernAgriculture #FutureOfAgriculture

In the Indian supply chain, "trust" is usually a piece of paper on a clipboard. Today, the vast majority of our ₹80,000 Crore cold storage network relies on manual temperature logs checked twice a day. But here is the reality of thermodynamics: by the time a human reads a thermometer and realizes a compressor has failed, the thermal drift has already ruined the inventory. That is not trust. That is just hoping for the best. At ANNAM Intelligence Technologies, we are engineering mathematical certainty into the post-harvest supply chain. We aren't just chilling rooms; we are deploying the Annam Operating System (AOS) to build a predictive intelligence layer over physical infrastructure. What does technical trust look like for our enterprise FMCG and Pharma clients? 🔹 Predictive, Not Reactive: Our edge IoT sensors don’t just record temperature. They capture high-frequency telemetry—from compressor voltage to ambient humidity. Our Machine Learning models process this to predict hardware failures hours before a physical breakdown occurs. 🔹 API-First Visibility: No more blind spots. We provide enterprise clients with a unified API that integrates directly into their ERPs, offering real-time, tamper-proof thermal dashboards for their inventory nationwide. 🔹 Eliminating Human Error: By automating the operational workflows and energy load balancing, we remove the friction and unreliability of manual facility management. We are building the "AWS of Cold Storage" because India’s critical food and pharmaceutical supplies deserve infrastructure that never blinks, never sleeps, and never guesses. True supply chain security isn't just about staying cold. It is about staying connected. 🔗❄️ #DeepTech #SupplyChainTransparency #Agritech #IoT #MachineLearning #PredictiveAnalytics #PharmaColdChain #FoodSecurity #StartupIndia #ANNAMIntelligence #BuildInIndia #VentureCapital
