Nur Kamaliah Kamal Bahari
🌱 Being part of MAHA 2026 as a crew from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS), under the Agricultural Modernisation Division (BPP) was a valuable and rewarding experience. Over 10 days and 9 nights, I had the opportunity to contribute to one of Malaysia’s major agricultural exhibitions, particularly in coordinating the R&D&C&I Cluster under the Agritech Segment at Hall C, MAEPS, Serdang.
✨ Held from 28 August to 6 September 2026, MAHA brought together universities, government agencies and industry players to showcase innovative technologies and research shaping the future of agriculture and the agri-food sector.
👍 As part of the organising team, I was involved in the coordination and implementation of the exhibition, including:
- Coordinating the R&D&C&I exhibition, involving 12 booths, five public universities, four government agencies and three industry players.
- Supporting pocket talks and forum sessions, providing a platform for researchers, industry experts and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, ideas and insights.
- Collaborating with agencies, universities and industry partners to facilitate exhibition activities and strengthen connections across the agritech ecosystem.
- Supporting VIP visits and exhibition walkthroughs, helping ensure a smooth, structured and informative experience for distinguished guests, including YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security.
🙌 One of the most rewarding parts of this experience was seeing how research and innovation can be translated into practical opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs and the wider agricultural community.
Beyond the exhibition itself, this journey strengthened my appreciation for the importance of teamwork, communication skills, stakeholder coordination and adaptability in delivering a large-scale programme. It also gave me valuable exposure to the role of research, technology and innovation in supporting the advancement of Malaysia’s agricultural sector.
I am grateful to everyone involved for the teamwork, commitment and shared effort in making this programme a success. 🌾
