On enchaîne.

My career began in automation and robotics. Today, I manage a durian farm and am building technology for the agricultural sector. These experiences have given me the opportunity to understand agriculture from two very different perspectives: the systems behind technology and the realities of working in the field. That is what led me to create BiDora. BiDora is a farm-direct platform designed to help local farmers present their farms, build stronger brand identities and connect with buyers more effectively. For buyers, the platform provides clearer information about the farmer, the farm, the available agricultural produce and its origin. The objective is not simply to create another online marketplace. It is to build a more transparent agricultural ecosystem where farmers are recognised for their identity, practices and produce. Not only for the price offered at the end of the supply chain. BiDora is now live, and its development continues through practical feedback, real farm operations and ongoing engagement with both farmers and buyers. Building a technology platform while managing a farm has been challenging, but it has also shaped how BiDora is being developed: From real agricultural experience, not assumptions. 🌱 Explore BiDora: https://www.bidora.co BiDora — Malaysia’s harvest, with a clearer origin. #BiDora #AgriTech #DigitalAgriculture #MalaysianAgriculture #FarmDirect

#agritech #startup #agricultura #inovatie

Can you imagine growing tons of food without using a single drop of pesticides while saving 95% of the water? Vertical farming in urban areas is no longer a vision of the future—it's becoming a reality. This innovative approach grows crops in stacked layers, either indoors or outdoors, using LED lighting and highly controlled nutrient delivery systems. Did you know? Europe's largest vertical farm is already under development in Copenhagen! This 7,000-square-meter facility is expected to produce 1,000 tons of food every year. The challenge: Although research from Duke University confirms that this technology reduces environmental impact and enables year-round food production regardless of weather conditions, the high energy demand of LED lighting and irrigation systems remains a major challenge. Unless powered by clean energy, these systems could contribute to climate change. Even so, the market continues to grow! According to Statista, the vertical farming industry generated US$20 billion in 2025. Do you think vertical farms will eventually replace traditional agriculture? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments! 📖 Read the full article at www.gustavocopelmayer.com #GustavoCopelmayer #VerticalFarming #Sustainability #AgriTech #EcoFriendly #Environment #SustainableCities

Pakistan’s startup ecosystem offers a layered support system that many founders overlook. If you’re a Pakistani entrepreneur or an investor seeking entry points, focus on the five active programs that drive the market today: the National Incubation Center (NIC) network, Plan9 & its sister initiative PlanX, Invest2Innovate, and The Nest I/O. NIC is the largest government‑backed hub, operating under the Ministry of IT & Telecom and Ignite. Since 2016 it has grown to eight centers—including specialized agritech and aerospace sites—incubating over 1,300 startups, graduating 660, creating 126,000 jobs and attracting more than Rs 22 billion in commitments. Each city runs its own cohort calendar, so applications may be open in Karachi while Lahore is on pause. Ideal sectors: biotech, fintech, IoT, education, agriculture, plus strong support for women founders and seasoned executives transitioning to entrepreneurship. Plan9 (and PlanX) delivers early‑stage acceleration with seed funding, mentorship, and market‑access pathways, while Invest2Innovate connects startups to corporate partners and venture capital. The Nest I/O focuses on deep‑tech and product‑centric ventures, offering prototyping facilities and industry linkages. Key takeaways: - Check each NIC city’s timeline individually. - Align your sector and growth stage with the program’s focus. - Leverage the mentorship, funding, and network access each platform provides. #PakistanStartups #Incubation #TechEcosystem #Entrepreneurship #NIC #Funding #WomenInTech Kindly follow us to see more updates from us.
