    La fin de la sécheresse (météorologique) a été marquée par le début de la saison des orages méditerranéens offrant un spectacle grandiose durant l'intégralité de la nuit passée. Quelques centaines de photos entre l'Hortus (ici à droite) et le Pic Saint Loup (ici sortant du nuage à gauche), dont de nombreux coups de foudre ramifiés ! Il va me falloir des semaines pour tout traiter !

    On enchaîne. Il est maintenant très probable que nous allons vivre l'El-Nino le plus intense depuis le début de son observation sur Terre (et surement depuis des siècles). Les premiers effets se font sentir avec un décrochage total des températures mondiales. Le mois d'août 2026 pourrait être le mois d'août le plus chaud sur Terre depuis le début des mesures. Nous ne sommes qu'à 0.11°C du record absolu mondial de température et 0.01°C du record absolu de la surface des océans. La méditerranée enchaîne les records absolus de température avec une canicule marine qui dure depuis des semaines avec jusqu'à +3 à +6°C d'anomalie. Les derniers relevés montrent qu'avec une moyenne de 28.5°C, la surface de la mer Méditerranée vient de battre son record absolu de température. En d'autres termes, la mer Méditerranée n'a jamais été aussi chaude tous mois confondus. Ce n'est que le début. Nous sommes partis pour 1 an d'incroyables records à l'échelle planétaire.

Face au double défi du changement climatique et de la réduction des pesticides, la lyonnaise Inlux Biotech propose un outil inédit : rendre les maladies des plantes… visibles. Fondée par quatre ingénieures en biotechnologies végétales issues de l’INSA Lyon, la start-up transforme les micro-organismes pathogènes en bactéries luminescentes, puis suit en temps réel, grâce à une caméra ultra-sensible, la progression ou la régression de l’infection sur des plantes en laboratoire. Lorsque la lumière s’éteint, le traitement testé fonctionne ; lorsqu’elle persiste, la maladie reste active.​ Inlux Biotech ne développe pas elle-même de biopesticides, mais mesure l’efficacité des solutions alternatives envoyées par ses clients (entreprises de biocontrôle, instituts de recherche, agritechs) et les aide à sélectionner les meilleures formulations, en accélérant leur preuve d’efficacité. La technologie repose sur une « poudre » rendant les micro-organismes luminescents, une caméra d’imagerie et une plateforme d’analyse propriétaire, que l’équipe ambitionne de transformer en produit clé-en-main pour les laboratoires d’ici cinq à six ans. Une levée de fonds de 1,5 million d’euros est en préparation pour renforcer l’équipe, soutenir la R&D et répondre à une demande croissante, avec un objectif clair : devenir l’outil de référence pour valider les alternatives aux pesticides et accélérer leur déploiement sur le terrain.
