Closing a Chapter That I Never Wanted to End 🍃✨
10 Days. Countless Lessons. Lifelong Memories.
Today, I wrapped up the RKVY Sponsored 10-day training at ICAR–IIHR, Bengaluru, and it feels unreal how quickly these days passed—each one so full, so intense, and so unforgettable.
From the very first day, walking into IIHR with curiosity, to today, walking out with clarity, confidence, and purpose… this journey has changed the way I look at agriculture, innovation, and sustainability.
Over these 10 days, I:
🌱 Explored the world of biofertilizers, biopesticides, microbial consortia, and global regulations.
🦋 Learned the mass production of insect bioagents, entomopathogenic fungi, bacteria, and nematodes.
🍄 Spent a day completely immersed in mushrooms—from cultivation to harvesting to tasting—a day that felt like magic.
🧪 Worked hands-on with botanicals, extractions, pheromones, kairomones, and GC-MS labs that revealed the science behind nature’s chemistry.
🏭 Experienced industry-level production and quality control systems that define real-world agri-enterprises.
🚁 Watched drones take over fields, realizing how fast agri-tech is evolving.
🐝 And finally, discovered the gentle, powerful world of bees—from apiary visits to honey tasting straight from the comb, queen rearing, and understanding how these tiny pollinators silently uplift our food systems.
Every lecture, every field practical, every lab session, every interaction with scientists and fellow trainees added a new layer to my understanding—and a new memory to carry forward.
As I leave IIHR, the campus feels different.
Maybe because I am leaving with more than I came with—
🔸 new skills
🔸 new perspectives
🔸 new friendships
🔸 and a heart full of gratitude.
This chapter may have ended, but the impact will stay for years to come.
And I can't wait to carry these learnings into the real world. 🌿💛
Thank you, ICAR–IIHR, for a journey that will stay with me forever.
