On enchaîne.

🌱 Grateful, recognized, and motivated to keep building! When we first started working on Krishi Kranti: Desi Kheti, Digital Soch, it began as a vision to bridge traditional wisdom with modern technology. We spent endless days and late nights putting together the initial prototype—driven by a common goal to solve real challenges in agriculture like climate uncertainty, soil health, pesticide usage, and market pricing. Seeing our work recognized and featured in AmiByte 2.0 is a huge milestone for us. Moments like these remind us that hard work pays off, but more importantly, they fuel our passion to keep refining, improving, and scaling what we’ve built. A heartfelt thank you to our faculties and our department Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Patna for providing the platform and encouragement to bring our ideas to life. This journey is only getting started! 🚀 “First, solve the problem. 🌾 Solving a real problem for India's farmers — one app at a time. Access to accurate market information has always been a challenge in rural India. Farmers often sell their produce without knowing the real mandi rates, and equipment access remains fragmented and inefficient. We built YantraGo to change that. ✅ Real-time mandi rates for major crops — wheat, soybean, chana, maize and more — sourced directly from data.gov.in, with min, max and modal prices ✅ A peer-to-peer marketplace where equipment owners (tractors, JCBs, harvesters) can list their machines, and farmers can book them from nearby villages ✅ Daily price updates with trend indicators, so farmers can make informed selling decisions instead of guessing This is what digital-first, ground-level agri-tech looks like — combining open government data with a simple, accessible interface built for rural users. We're just getting started, and would love to connect with anyone working in agri-tech, rural fintech, or digital inclusion. 📲 Check it out: socialstech.com/yantrago #AgriTech #DigitalIndia #FarmTech #RuralInnovation #Agriculture #StartupIndia #TechForGood #MadeInIndia #Innovation #MandiBhav

Proud to be a participant of BCA Business Case Competition (BBCC) 2026! With the title "BCA Agri-ESG Venture Fund: Bridging the Agrarian Gap via Corporate VC" we explore the potential of how BCA can strengthen its position in ESG. Our idea focuses on how BCA's efforts on funding as a solution to Indonesia's food security crisis due to climate volatility by highlighting the funding gap for agricultural innovation. In the midst of the risk of declining crop yields up to 25%, public budget allocation still focuses on physical stocks and irrigation rather than R&D or affordable technology for farmers. This condition is aggravated by the loss of venture capital focused on ESG and the plummeting of agritech investment up to 60%, thus creating a high dependence on foreign institutions to fund the sustainability of the domestic agrarian sector. This project becomes a strategic means to explore, analyze, and explore the dynamics of the banking industry comprehensively. More than just a learning process, the main challenge is to formulate applied ideas into high-impact solutions that are able to provide sustainable added value for BCA and its ecosystem. What can 9,000+ conversations teach you about farmers? Recently, I’ve been looking closely at the usage data of Folon AI Chat, an AI-powered feature built for farmers inside the Folon app. The most valuable part isn't the number of conversations. It’s what farmers are actually asking. Their questions are not limited to one area. We’re seeing conversations around crops, livestock, poultry, diseases, farming practices, weather, production problems and many day-to-day challenges. The 15.8% voice usage is also an interesting signal. And this is where I see the real pain points they have and As a PM, I don't look at these conversations only as AI interactions. Every question can tell us something: → What problem is the farmer facing? → What information are they struggling to find? → Which topics need better advisory support? → Where are farmers repeatedly asking for help? → And perhaps most importantly, what are we still not solving well enough? This is why I believe AI features in Agritech should not be measured only by how many questions the AI answered. For me, this is where AI + Product Management becomes really interesting: User conversation → Behaviour insight → Product decision → Better experience. And we’re still learning. Special thanks to Manon Muhtasin Rahman bhai for making this happened. Also, a huge appreciation to the Engineering team.

🚀 Introducing Project KAVACH — Kinetic Animal Vigilance & Automated Crop-Guard Harness 🌱🛡️ We’re excited to share what Team Bhumi built at Tetrathon 2026! 🏆 Top 40 out of 400+ teams! Although we couldn’t make it into the Top 10, reaching the Top 40 gave us an incredible opportunity to turn our idea into a working AI + hardware solution and present it at the event. 🌾 What is KAVACH? KAVACH is an AI-powered automated crop protection system designed to detect unwanted entities around agricultural fields and respond intelligently based on the situation. At its core is the Rakshak Tower — a modular agricultural protection tower designed by our team with Basic, Standard, and Premium configurations, allowing customization for different farm requirements and budgets. ⚙️ How it works PIR Sensor → Camera → YOLOv8 → Decision System → Raspberry Pi → Action 🔹 PIR sensors provide the first level of detection. 🔹 Cameras activate when activity is detected. 🔹 YOLOv8 with COCO-pretrained weights identifies animals, birds, and humans. 🔹 The decision system determines the appropriate response. 🔹 Animals/birds can trigger suitable deterrent mechanisms. 🔹 When a human is detected, no deterrent action is triggered, preventing unnecessary activation around people. ⚡ Power-Efficient Design Using PIR as the initial trigger helps reduce unnecessary camera and system operation. Combined with the solar-powered Rakshak Tower, this improves the overall energy efficiency of the concept. 🧠 Technology Stack 🤖 YOLOv8 + COCO | 👁️ Computer Vision 📡 PIR & Ultrasonic Sensors | 🖥️ Raspberry Pi 🗄️ Database & Decision Logic | ⚙️ Embedded Systems 🔊 Speaker | 💧 Sprinkler | 🔦 Laser | ☀️ Solar Power 💼 Built with scalability in mind KAVACH was designed as a potential customizable agricultural technology solution, with a modular tower that can be adapted to different farm sizes, requirements, and budgets. 👥 Team Bhumi A huge thanks to every team member who contributed to the design, AI development, hardware-software integration, testing, debugging, and presentation.
