🌙 Reflecting on an inspiring experience at the #RamadanIA_Hackathon Morocco!
Three days ago, I walked into my first large-scale AI hackathon, not fully knowing what to expect. Today, I leave the RamadanIA Hackathon Morocco with something much bigger than just a project — a renewed belief in the power of youth, collaboration, and innovation. Being surrounded by passionate students, engineers, mentors, and innovators from across Morocco created an incredible energy. It showed how a new generation is ready to build impactful solutions using artificial intelligence to address real-world challenges.
During these three intense and exciting days, my team — Farah EL GHEMARY, Hajar ECH-CHEBANY, Sohaib Ahrich, @AyoubMeirif, and I — worked on #GreenLife, a project focused on agricultural development and smarter farming. Our goal is to leverage data and intelligent tools to help farmers make better decisions, improve crop management, and contribute to a more sustainable agricultural ecosystem. What made this experience truly special was not only building the project, but also the discussions, mentorship, and the inspiring people I had the chance to meet, all sharing the same motivation to create meaningful impact.
A sincere thank you to Amal EL FALLAH - SEGHROUCHNI, Minister Delegate in charge of Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development - Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the Jazari Institute and the #RamadanIA Initiative, for organizing such an inspiring event and for believing in young innovators. Knowing that some of the projects developed during this hackathon could receive support, investment, and even be implemented in real life gives us even more motivation to keep building. And with the announcement of an even bigger hackathon this year — expected to gather more than 5000 participants — I can only say: I’m already looking forward to it.
