    On enchaîne. Il est maintenant très probable que nous allons vivre l'El-Nino le plus intense depuis le début de son observation sur Terre (et surement depuis des siècles). Les premiers effets se font sentir avec un décrochage total des températures mondiales. Le mois d'août 2026 pourrait être le mois d'août le plus chaud sur Terre depuis le début des mesures. Nous ne sommes qu'à 0.11°C du record absolu mondial de température et 0.01°C du record absolu de la surface des océans. La méditerranée enchaîne les records absolus de température avec une canicule marine qui dure depuis des semaines avec jusqu'à +3 à +6°C d'anomalie. Les derniers relevés montrent qu'avec une moyenne de 28.5°C, la surface de la mer Méditerranée vient de battre son record absolu de température. En d'autres termes, la mer Méditerranée n'a jamais été aussi chaude tous mois confondus. Ce n'est que le début. Nous sommes partis pour 1 an d'incroyables records à l'échelle planétaire.

A useful soil map should show more than where a field looks different. It should help explain what that difference means for a decision. A recent USDA ARS study combined soil samples, apparent electrical conductivity, drone imagery and other sensor data to build high resolution soil-health maps in a soybean field. The work used 69 soil samples at two depths and 23 soil-health and fertility indicators across two growing seasons. What interests me is the architecture behind the result. Soil is spatially variable. A single average can hide management relevant differences, while a single sensor captures only part of the picture. For AgriTech product design, the lesson is simple: better maps do not come from adding more layers. They come from connecting measurements that answer a real management question while keeping source, scale, timing and limitations visible. System Components & Engineering Assessment Primary Thermal Generation (Hot Water Boilers) Equipment: Package firetube hot water boilers equipped with heavy-duty front insulation doors for maintenance access. Combustion Equipment: Monoblock forced-draft gas burners (Baltur and Ecoflam series) fitted with integrated control panels and air damper actuators for modulated firing. Gas Train & Fuel Supply Network Piping Layout: Elevated, high-visibility yellow natural gas distribution header running parallel to the boiler line. Aujourd’hui : l’𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲. Dans une serre moderne, la lumière est à la fois une ressource essentielle et un paramètre à contrôler. Un rayonnement excessif peut entraîner une augmentation de la température, un stress hydrique et une perturbation du développement des jeunes plants. L’𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 permet donc de mieux maîtriser les conditions de production en contribuant à : 🌱 réduire le stress thermique ; ☀️ contrôler l’intensité du rayonnement ; 💧 limiter les pertes d’eau ; 🌿 protéger les tissus végétaux ; 📈 favoriser une croissance plus homogène. Mais une bonne gestion de l’ombrage repose surtout sur l’équilibre. 🌱 What if a water bottle could return to nature instead of remaining in it for years? Plastic bottles are everywhere — from city streets to rivers, farmlands and fragile ecosystems. But what if the solution to plastic pollution could come from the very crops we grow? In the backwaters of Kerala, three friends — Aswin, Alen and Basil — witnessed plastic waste accumulating in waterways. Instead of simply asking “Why is this happening?”, they asked a more important question: “What if we could build a better alternative?” That question led to Bakwa — a startup working to develop biodegradable alternatives to conventional plastic bottles. 🚀 At first glance, Bakwa bottles may look like conventional plastic. But their material tells a different story. 🌾 Made using plant-based PLA derived from agricultural resources such as sugarcane and cornstarch ♻️ Designed to biodegrade within a much shorter timeframe than conventional plastic 🌱 Compostable components including the cap and label 🚫 BPA-free and designed as an alternative to conventional plastic packaging But Bakwa’s innovation goes beyond the bottle itself. 💡 Through its Free Water Project, the startup has explored a model where brands can advertise on bottle labels and help cover production costs — making free drinking water possible while promoting awareness about sustainable packaging. According to the information shared by Bakwa, more than 10,000 bottles have been distributed within six months through this initiative. The bigger idea is what makes this startup interesting: Agriculture doesn't only provide food. It can also provide the raw materials for the next generation of sustainable products. From 🌾 sugarcane and 🌽 corn to ♻️ biodegradable packaging, Bakwa demonstrates how agricultural resources, innovation and entrepreneurship can come together to tackle one of the world's biggest environmental challenges.
