I'm excited to share the first look at Sabzzy—a high-fidelity, interactive prototype for a platform I believe will redefine India's $140B+ fresh food supply chain. I have been working on it along with Nikhil Agarwal and @srishtichauhan.
The Problem: Today, when we order groceries, we're not buying "fresh." We're buying produce from a cold-storage-based quick-commerce model. This system is broken.
Consumers get overpriced, days-old produce with zero transparency.
Local Vendors & Farmers are squeezed by middlemen, losing 30-40% of their margins.
The Environment suffers from 40% of produce being wasted in this inefficient chain (FAO data).
Our Vision: Sabzzy Sabzzy is a tech-first ecosystem that cuts out the middlemen, connecting consumers directly with the source: local mandis, farmers, and vendors.
This isn't just another grocery app. It's a high-trust, transparent platform built on four pillars:

Groundbreaking Tech: We're the first to simulate an AI-powered freshness scanner, Hinglish voice ordering, and AI-driven produce care advice for vendors. 💡 3. Radical Transparency: Customers see "Know Your Farmer" profiles and a live "Mandi Price" comparison on every item. 💡 4. Vendor-First Ecosystem: A dedicated "Sabzzy Dukaan" app empowers vendors with real-time order management and AI-driven advice to reduce waste.
The Path to Scale: This prototype proves the concept. The path to a ₹1,000Cr+ business lies in our tech-driven scalability:
📈 AI Demand Forecasting: Our most powerful IP. By analyzing local sales, weather, and mandi trends, we can tell vendors exactly what to stock, cutting waste from 40% to <5%. 📈 B2B Vertical ("Sabzzy for Business"): A high-volume, high-margin revenue stream supplying hotels and restaurants. 📈 Hyperlocal Logistics Engine: An algorithm to batch-process orders from the same locality, making ₹10 deliveries profitable. 📈 "Sabzzy Credit": Building vendor loyalty through micro-financing for inventory—a powerful moat no competitor can easily copy.
