Coming from a Soil & Water Sciences background, I was particularly interested in learning more about Oman’s agricultural and water-related challenges, as well as its growing development in smart agriculture, greenhouse farming, modern irrigation technologies, food security, and sustainability. The experience was valuable both professionally and academically, and it reinforced for me how international networking, knowledge exchange, and cross-sector collaboration can create meaningful opportunities for learning and growth. Em 2026, o setor sucroenergético brasileiro enfrenta um cenário de reconfiguração em suas planilhas de custos. Após um período de relativa trégua no mercado de insumos ao longo de 2025, a escalada das tensões geopolíticas globais e a dependência estrutural de importações reconduziram os fertilizantes ao centro das atenções estratégicas de usinas e produtores. Representando isoladamente cerca de 10% do custo total de produção da cana-de-açúcar, esses insumos exercem forte pressão sobre as margens operacionais, exigindo do setor uma previsibilidade financeira cada vez mais afiada. Este relatório oferece um panorama analítico e atualizado até agosto de 2026 sobre o impacto direto dos preços de nitrogenados, fosfatados e potássicos na cultura da cana. Por meio de dados consolidados de mercado e de custos de produção, examinamos a fundo as duas principais vertentes do investimento em nutrição vegetal: a implantação (reforma e plantio) — fase altamente intensiva em capital — e a manutenção anual de soqueiras (cana-soca), cuja sensibilidade às oscilações da ureia e do nitrato de amônio desafia a rentabilidade da adubação de cobertura. Mais do que uma análise macroeconômica, o estudo traz um recorte focado na realidade prática do campo nos estados de São Paulo, Goiás, Minas Gerais e Mato Grosso do Sul. Cada uma dessas regiões apresenta dinâmicas geográficas e desafios técnicos particulares — que vão desde os elevados custos de arrendamento em SP e a necessidade de pesada correção de solo no Cerrado goiano, até o relevo acidentado mineiro e o uso pioneiro de bioinsumos e dejetos orgânicos no solo sul-mato-grossense. Nous sommes fiers d’accompagner l’un de nos clients dans l’équipement d’1 hectare de serre, avec l’installation prochaine d’un ordinateur climatique et de Thermitube. 🌡️🌿 Mais au-delà de l’installation, notre mission chez Valnexo, c’est avant tout de proposer un accompagnement complet, de A à Z. 🤝 Notre client n’a eu aucune démarche administrative à effectuer. Nos équipes se sont occupées de l’ensemble du projet : étude des besoins, recherche des aides et subventions disponibles, constitution et suivi des dossiers, jusqu’à la mise en place des équipements. 💶 Résultat : 0 € à la charge du client pour l’installation de ces équipements, grâce aux dispositifs d’aides et aux subventions que nous avons pu identifier et mobiliser pour son projet. Et l’intérêt ne s’arrête évidemment pas au financement. Cette nouvelle technologie va permettre d’optimiser beaucoup plus finement la gestion du climat de la serre, d’améliorer les conditions de production et surtout d’allonger la période de récolte. 🍅 L’objectif : pouvoir gagner jusqu’à 3 semaines en amont et 3 semaines en aval sur les récoltes, soit jusqu’à 6 semaines supplémentaires de potentiel de production sur la saison.
