Recently, I had the privilege of attending an ecosystem meet at FITT (Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer - Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi) representing Nayandi.
Engaging directly with experienced professors, seasoned incubators, and fellow deep-tech founders provided a rare, unvarnished look into what it actually takes to build, scale, and commercialize AI startups in today’s landscape.
At Nayandi, we are actively applying these principles to modern AgriTech. By leveraging existing CCTV infrastructure on dairy farms, we transform standard video feeds into intelligent, non-invasive health-monitoring systems. Using Computer Vision and Deep Learning, we continuously track critical health and behavioral indicators such as respiratory rates enabling early disease detection and preventing yield loss without relying on expensive wearable sensors.
Building at the intersection of Computer Vision, Edge AI, and real-world impact is intense, but conversations like these affirm that we're moving in the exact right direction.
