    On enchaîne. Il est maintenant très probable que nous allons vivre l'El-Nino le plus intense depuis le début de son observation sur Terre (et surement depuis des siècles). Les premiers effets se font sentir avec un décrochage total des températures mondiales. Le mois d'août 2026 pourrait être le mois d'août le plus chaud sur Terre depuis le début des mesures. Nous ne sommes qu'à 0.11°C du record absolu mondial de température et 0.01°C du record absolu de la surface des océans. La méditerranée enchaîne les records absolus de température avec une canicule marine qui dure depuis des semaines avec jusqu'à +3 à +6°C d'anomalie. Les derniers relevés montrent qu'avec une moyenne de 28.5°C, la surface de la mer Méditerranée vient de battre son record absolu de température. En d'autres termes, la mer Méditerranée n'a jamais été aussi chaude tous mois confondus. Ce n'est que le début. Nous sommes partis pour 1 an d'incroyables records à l'échelle planétaire.

According to the latest industry data from the Eseye 2025 State of IoT Report, nearly 60% of #agritech companies plan to reduce their #IoT spending in the next 18 months. This is surprising, especially given that the agriculture sector has long pursued large-scale IoT expansion. Farms have invested in thousands of sensors, smart machines, and connected devices, believing that adding more devices would lead to higher yields, improved forecasting, and lower operational costs. However, the industry now faces challenges not because IoT has lost its value, but because the complexity of managing these systems has outpaced the available capabilities. The number of devices has grown faster than the technical support, integration skills, and funding models required to manage them effectively. As a result, the focus has moved from expansion to sustainability, simplification, and measurable outcomes. Companies are looking for systems that minimize environmental impact, fit within tighter budgets, and don’t require specialized expertise to operate. The ambition to innovate hasn’t disappeared; it has become more realistic and strategic. I believe the next era of agritech will not center on increasing the number of devices but rather on enhancing the value they deliver. IoT will continue to transform #agriculture, but only if we prioritize reducing complexity, strengthening partnerships, and redesigning ecosystems around purpose instead of volume ☝🏻

|AELP and AIA| Hydroponics Fieldwork Update: Irrigation Setup, pH & TDS Management ✨Today’s hydroponics field operations focused on improving irrigation efficiency and maintaining optimal nutrient balance for our grow bag system. 🔷 1. Irrigation Pipe Preparation: ★Cut the main pipes into approximate sizes based on the grow bag spacing. ★Ensured the pipe edges were clean and smooth to avoid blockage. ★Applied oil at one end of each pipe for easier and more secure arrow fitting. ★Fitted the irrigation arrows properly to ensure uniform water delivery across all grow bags. 🔷 2. Water Quality Monitoring: ★Conducted a routine check of our channel’s water parameters. ★Measured pH: 9.8 (higher than the optimal range, indicating need for correction). ★ Measured TDS: 302 ppm (within workable range but monitored for consistency). ★ Recorded parameters for daily tracking and future nutrient adjustments. 🔷 3. Nutrient Solution Calibration: ★Added 300 ml from both nutrient tanks to balance the solution. • Tank A Composition:  – Calcium nitrate  – EDTA • Tank B Composition:  – Potassium nitrate  – Monopotassium phosphate  – Magnesium sulphate  – Micronutrients ★ Ensured thorough mixing to avoid layering or uneven nutrient distribution. ★Monitored changes to maintain a stable environment for plant growth. 🔷 4. Outcome & Learning: ★ Achieved smoother arrow fitting and better drip flow. ★ Identified necessity to adjust pH closer to the optimal range for root health. ★Reinforced the importance of precise nutrient management in hydroponics systems. ★Gained deeper understanding of how irrigation mechanics and nutrient balance directly impact plant performance.
