On enchaîne.

🎓 Yesterday, I officially graduated — and proudly defended my final-year project: the DripMate Combo. This tool is designed to simplify the installation of start rubbers and start connectors in drip irrigation systems by providing a safer, faster, and more consistent method for farmers and technicians. During the public defense, I received many insightful questions about its future development, commercialization, and impact on field efficiency — a clear sign that the DripMate Combo solves a real challenge in irrigation installation. I’m excited to continue refining the tool and exploring opportunities for prototyping, testing with farmers, and eventually scaling it for commercial use. A big thank you to my lecturers at SASA College Of Industrial Design, Vellam Engineering Solutions (U) Limited, fellow students, Bengaluru SOLIDWORKS User Group (BLR-SWUG) for the SOLIDWORKS training that helped me design the entire concept in solid works, and EDiC who supported me in 3D printing, casting and machining my models for practical tests and user feedback. 🙏 Here’s to innovation that empowers farmers and transforms irrigation work. #Graduation #IndustrialDesign #IrrigationEngineering #Innovation #DripMateCombo #Agritech #WaterForDevelopment

Farmers don’t lose food because pests arrive they lose it because they never see them coming. In my ongoing MasterMind case study, I’ve shown how farmers can diagnose pests/diseases with AI. Now I'm sharing what comes next — the Forecast Screen. Using climate indicators like temperature, humidity, soil moisture & atmospheric gases, the system predicts high-risk outbreaks before they spread, highlights potential pests vs diseases, and offers actionable recommendations instantly. This isn’t just diagnosis — it's prevention, protection, and preparedness. #AgriTech #UXDesign #AIforAgriculture #ClimateSmartFarming #FoodSecurity #ProductDesign #Innovation #FarmersFirst #Sustainability #UIDesign #AgriSolutions

🎉 Honored to Share a Major Advancement in Our Research Work! 🎉 After presenting my first paper, “Novel Framework for Weather Prediction Using Genetic Algorithm-Based Model Tuning,” at ICICT-2025, I’m excited to share the next step of our research direction. I recently presented our second paper titled: 📄 “Evolutionary Computing-Driven Evapotranspiration Modeling for Precision Irrigation Scheduling” at the 5th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing and Intelligent Information Systems (ICUIS-2025). 🌱💧 While our first work focused on building an optimized ET prediction model using ANN and Genetic Algorithm, this new paper moves beyond prediction and focuses on turning ET insights into real, actionable irrigation decisions. In this extended phase of our research, we developed a complete precision irrigation scheduling system by integrating: 🔹 A hybrid synthetic + real-world environmental dataset for improved climate adaptability 🔹 A dynamic irrigation scheduling model that adjusts to soil moisture patterns, crop stages, and seasonal variability 🔹 Evolutionary Computing for optimizing irrigation intervals and water use efficiency 🔹 A predictive and threshold-based irrigation decision engine that responds to changing weather 🔹 Real-time monitoring and actuator-based automation for intelligent irrigation control 🔹 Long-term rainfall–irrigation balance analysis over 175+ days 🔹 Cross-crop efficiency evaluation across varieties like maize, rice, wheat, cotton, barley, soybean, and different irrigation systems 🌾 The goal of this paper is to transition from forecasting ET to enabling smart, data-driven irrigation, helping farmers improve yield, save water, and adapt to climate challenges. This achievement was made possible thanks to the dedication of my teammates: ✨ Akkina Aateesh ✨ Pandiri Bhaskar Praneeth ✨ Dhiyaaram S And my sincere gratitude to our mentor G.Jeya Kumar for his continuous support, encouragement, and guidance. 🙏 Looking forward to expanding this work into reinforcement learning–based irrigation control, satellite-integrated ET analysis, and edge deployment for practical, real-time smart farming. 🚀🌍 #PrecisionIrrigation #SustainableFarming #EvolutionaryComputing #IrrigationScheduling #WaterManagement #AgriTech #ICUIS2025 #IEEE #SmartAgriculture #Research #Evapotranspiration #MachineLearning
