✨ Proud to participate in the OpenAI Academy × NxtWave Buildathon ✨
On 8–9 November, I was part of the NxtWave Buildathon held under the OpenAI Academy umbrella — an event that brought together over 1,000 students across the region at NRI Institute of Technology (Vijayawada).
Working with my teammates A M M Sankeerthana . and Chikkala Manju Naga sudha, we explored GenAI tools, shaped ideas, and built meaningful solutions — all during an intense and inspiring 48-hour innovation sprint.
We developed our project “Krishi Bandhu” — a platform to help farmers sell their crops directly to customers, reducing middlemen and improving supply-chain transparency. We built the prototype using Cursor and other GenAI tools, enabling us to transform ideas into a working solution in record time.
We also received helpful guidance from Venkata Ramu Gollapalli Sir, and had an insightful conversation with Girish Akash Sir, which added depth and clarity to our thinking.
This buildathon, among 505 shortlisted teams working across sectors like agriculture, healthcare, education, and sustainability, was more than just a competition — it was a powerful blend of learning, collaboration, and real-world problem solving. 🚀
I feel energized and more committed than ever to continue exploring AI, creating impactful solutions, and contributing to the tech community.
