Day 4/10 — Teaching Krishi-Vani to remember. 🌱
Yesterday, Krishi-Vani could talk.
Today, I taught it to remember.
For the demo, I introduced myself as Ria, a farmer from Latur, growing cotton on 6 acres with drip irrigation.
I shared these details, gave permission to remember them, and ended the call.
When I started a new conversation and simply said “Namaste”, Krishi-Vani recognized me and brought back the details from our previous conversation. 🌾
I also tested the other side of memory — when I said “No, don't save that,” it respected my decision.
Behind the scenes, I added SQLite memory + function tools + consent-based saving, so the agent can look up and update farmer information across conversations.
It's a small feature, but it makes the experience feel much less like talking to a bot and much more like talking to an assistant.
