    On enchaîne. Il est maintenant très probable que nous allons vivre l'El-Nino le plus intense depuis le début de son observation sur Terre (et surement depuis des siècles). Les premiers effets se font sentir avec un décrochage total des températures mondiales. Le mois d'août 2026 pourrait être le mois d'août le plus chaud sur Terre depuis le début des mesures. Nous ne sommes qu'à 0.11°C du record absolu mondial de température et 0.01°C du record absolu de la surface des océans. La méditerranée enchaîne les records absolus de température avec une canicule marine qui dure depuis des semaines avec jusqu'à +3 à +6°C d'anomalie. Les derniers relevés montrent qu'avec une moyenne de 28.5°C, la surface de la mer Méditerranée vient de battre son record absolu de température. En d'autres termes, la mer Méditerranée n'a jamais été aussi chaude tous mois confondus. Ce n'est que le début. Nous sommes partis pour 1 an d'incroyables records à l'échelle planétaire.

🌾 Day 5/10 — The Tools | KrishiMitra AI 🤖🎙️ Continuing my journey with the 10 Days of Voice Agents challenge by Murf AI! For Day 5, I took KrishiMitra AI, my voice-based assistant for the Farm & Field track, one step further by giving it the ability to use real tools and retrieve domain-specific data. 🌦️ I integrated a weather lookup tool using a local district-wise weather dataset. Now, KrishiMitra AI can: 🔹 Understand when a user needs weather information 🔹 Automatically trigger the appropriate tool 🔹 Retrieve district-wise weather data from the dataset 🔹 Handle missing or unavailable data gracefully 🔹 Convert structured tool results into natural voice responses 🔹 Provide useful information without hallucinating data This was an important learning experience because it showed me how tool calling transforms a voice agent from simply having conversations into an agent capable of taking meaningful actions and providing real, domain-specific information. 🎙️ I'm building KrishiMitra AI using Murf Falcon TTS as part of the 10 Days of Voice Agents challenge. 🚀 From Design to Impact — SIH 2025 Finalist Being a B.Design student in my very first semester, getting the opportunity to qualify for the Smart India Hackathon 2025 Grand Finale was more than an achievement — it was the moment I began to believe in the possibilities of what I could create. ✨ Proud to have been part of Team Crop Crusader from GNA University, representing our university at the SIH 2025 Grand Finale, held on 8–9 December 2025 at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai. 🏆 Out of 72,165 idea submissions across India, our team secured a place among the Top 5 teams under Problem Statement ID 25097 — a moment of immense pride and a testament to our creativity, teamwork, and determination. 🌱 🌾 Our team worked on a solution focused on empowering rural farmers through accessible, intuitive, and impactful technology — reminding me that meaningful design begins with understanding real people and real problems. Attended the Build with AI Bootcamp in Kolkata! ​Had an amazing, hands-on day at Techno India University Kolkata, hosted by Google for Developers , Hack2skill, and GDG Kolkata. ​The bootcamp was all about moving beyond theory and building practical, production-ready AI solutions using modern tools. ​ What I Explored & Worked On: • Smart Agriculture AI Assistant (Currently in Development): Conceptualized a tool aimed at helping farmers with instant leaf disease diagnosis via crop photos, suggesting organic remedies, and providing seasonal crop/weather guidance. (It’s still a work in progress, but the session gave me the exact architectural clarity I needed to build it further!). • Team Collaboration: Also teamed up with a friend to assist on the deployment side for his workspace acoustic intelligence project (QuietSpace). ✨ Key Takeaways: Explored AI-first development and the practical flow of "vibe coding." Worked hands-on with Google AI Studio and Google Antigravity IDE to build intelligent, agentic workflows. Connected with an incredible community of developers and mentors in Kolkata. ​Grateful for the learning and networking experience. That's the real challenge I tackled in my latest build: Plant Health AI Agent — part of the AI Fluency Masterclass by Simplifying Skills. A customer describes their plant problem on a Google Form → AI by Zapier semantically matches it to the right product (Neem Oil, Cocopeat, Vermicompost) from a custom knowledge base → generates a personalized recommendation + reply → auto-emails the customer → logs everything in Google Sheets. No keyword matching. No manual replies. Just reasoning → action. 🍅 Protéger et favoriser le développement de la tomate sous serre pendant les fortes chaleurs La culture de la tomate sous serre est particulièrement sensible aux fortes chaleurs, qui peuvent provoquer un stress thermique, une augmentation de l’évapotranspiration, une diminution de la photosynthèse, une mauvaise nouaison et une baisse du rendement. Pour limiter ces effets, une bonne gestion du climat de la serre est indispensable, notamment grâce à une ventilation efficace, au blanchiment de la couverture et à l’utilisation de filets d’ombrage pour réduire le rayonnement solaire excessif. La gestion de l’irrigation constitue également un facteur essentiel. L’irrigation goutte-à-goutte doit être adaptée aux besoins de la tomate et fractionnée durant la journée afin de maintenir une humidité régulière autour des racines. Il est important d’éviter aussi bien le stress hydrique que l’excès d’eau. Une bonne gestion de la fertigation et de la conductivité électrique (CE) permet parallèlement d’assurer une alimentation minérale équilibrée malgré les températures élevées. La nutrition végétale joue un rôle important dans la résistance des plants aux conditions difficiles. Le potassium favorise la régulation hydrique et la qualité des fruits, tandis qu’un apport équilibré en calcium contribue notamment à limiter les risques de nécrose apicale. L’utilisation raisonnée de biostimulants, d’acides aminés et d’extraits d’algues peut accompagner la plante face au stress thermique, tout en favorisant l’activité racinaire et la récupération après les périodes de chaleur. Une surveillance régulière de la température, de l’humidité relative, des ravageurs et maladies, ainsi que de la pollinisation et de la nouaison, est indispensable. Une stratégie combinant ombrage, ventilation, irrigation, fertigation, nutrition végétale et biostimulation permet de préserver la vigueur des plants et d’améliorer la qualité des fruits.
