On enchaîne.

In the Indian supply chain, "trust" is usually a piece of paper on a clipboard. Today, the vast majority of our ₹80,000 Crore cold storage network relies on manual temperature logs checked twice a day. But here is the reality of thermodynamics: by the time a human reads a thermometer and realizes a compressor has failed, the thermal drift has already ruined the inventory. That is not trust. That is just hoping for the best. At ANNAM Intelligence Technologies, we are engineering mathematical certainty into the post-harvest supply chain. We aren't just chilling rooms; we are deploying the Annam Operating System (AOS) to build a predictive intelligence layer over physical infrastructure. What does technical trust look like for our enterprise FMCG and Pharma clients? 🔹 Predictive, Not Reactive: Our edge IoT sensors don’t just record temperature. They capture high-frequency telemetry—from compressor voltage to ambient humidity. Our Machine Learning models process this to predict hardware failures hours before a physical breakdown occurs. 🔹 API-First Visibility: No more blind spots. We provide enterprise clients with a unified API that integrates directly into their ERPs, offering real-time, tamper-proof thermal dashboards for their inventory nationwide. 🔹 Eliminating Human Error: By automating the operational workflows and energy load balancing, we remove the friction and unreliability of manual facility management. We are building the "AWS of Cold Storage" because India’s critical food and pharmaceutical supplies deserve infrastructure that never blinks, never sleeps, and never guesses. True supply chain security isn't just about staying cold. It is about staying connected. 🔗❄️ #DeepTech #SupplyChainTransparency #Agritech #IoT #MachineLearning #PredictiveAnalytics #PharmaColdChain #FoodSecurity #StartupIndia #ANNAMIntelligence #BuildInIndia #VentureCapital

EW Group and Ranchbot closed the week's only two AgTech deals, three companies launched new farm technology, and USDA and DHS signed a biosecurity memorandum against New World screwworm smuggling. The Deals EW Group GmbH completed its acquisition of French natural-solutions maker Olmix from Amadeite and Motion Equity Partners on August 7, folding the 100-country biologicals maker into a holding company of more than 300 subsidiaries. Ranchbot Monitoring Solutions raised more than $15 million in a Series B led by Lewis & Clark Partners and Fulcrum Global Capital, funding a new U.S. holding company in Fort Worth, Texas, on top of the 10 million cattle and 15 million sheep it already tracks for more than 12,000 customers. The Products Netafim launched GrowSphere FLEX, a smart-irrigation platform built for smallholder farmers who can't afford full precision-ag systems. Varda Foundation open-sourced its SoilHive soil-data platform. Little Leaf Farms began commissioning a new greenhouse in Tennessee, extending its pesticide-free, greenhouse-grown leafy greens into the Southeast. The Response USDA and the Department of Homeland Security signed a memorandum on August 10 pairing USDA's animal-health expertise with DHS border and inspection authorities against New World screwworm. USDA ties the smuggling to roughly 800,000 head of cattle and $320 million in illicit trade moved annually from Central America into Mexico. Zoetis separately won emergency-use authorization for its Simparica Trio treatment against the same threat. Read the full editorial on iGrow Network: https://lnkd.in/d6baFeg3

Hi everyone, I am working on my Master's dissertation in Agromet Advisory Services and I want to understand how small and marginal farmers, or farmers in general, use or don't use weather forecasts in the critical harvest and sowing periods. From what i have read up until now is that forecasting has progressed significantly but I am really trying to understand the true disconnect between an SMS forecast received by a farmer's phone and the farmer safely bringing in his farm produce before unseasonal rain or frost occurs. I would love to connect with anyone in agricultural extension, climate-smart agriculture, and rural development who has any ideas, literature tips or just wants to talk about the ground realities. I have a lot of questions, actually, so it's me who would be doing the talking. #AgrometAdvisories #AAS #IMD #ClimateSmartAgriculture #AgriculturalEconomics #SmallholderFarmers #RuralDevelopment #MastersResearch #Dissertation #ClimateAdaptation #AgriTech #FieldResearch #Agriculture

🚜☀️ Turning an Agricultural Challenge into an Innovation | MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0 Proud to share our participation in the MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0 – Internal Evaluation, hosted at the Host Institute Business Incubator, Aditya University. Our team presented “Solar Powered Remote Operated Sprayer for Vegetable Crops” — an AgriTech solution designed to address challenges such as labour shortage, operator safety, uneven spraying, high fuel costs, and excessive chemical usage. By integrating solar power, remote operation, and precision spraying, our idea aims to make crop protection safer, smarter, cost-effective, and more sustainable for vegetable farmers. 🌱 Presenting our idea during the internal evaluation gave us valuable exposure to innovation, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, teamwork, and real-world agricultural challenges. The feedback from the evaluation panel helped us look at our idea from a stronger perspective and identify opportunities for further improvement. A proud learning experience at Aditya University and an exciting step forward in our journey of developing practical solutions for agriculture. 🌾💡 From identifying a problem → designing a solution → presenting it → learning from feedback. #MSMEIdeaHackathon6 #MSME #AdityaUniversity #IdeaHackathon #AgriTech #AgriculturalEngineering #SmartAgriculture #PrecisionAgriculture #SolarAgriculture #AgriculturalInnovation #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #Teamwork #Farmtechnology

🚜 Why we left our comfort zones to build Dehati Ai. Growing up in the farmlands of Pakistan, we saw a harsh reality. Our farmers work 18-hour days under the scorching sun, yet they lose 30-40% of their yield simply because they can't detect crop diseases early enough. They rely on "andaza" (guesswork) while the world relies on data. That gap hurt us. So, my co-founder and I decided to bridge it. At Dehati Ai, we are building simple, affordable AI tools that turn a basic smartphone into a farmer's best friend. No heavy machinery. No English required. Just point the camera, and get instant disease detection & weather advice in Urdu/punjabi. This isn't just a startup for us. It's our tribute to the backbone of Pakistan. If you believe Agri-Tech can change Pakistan, drop a ❤️ and let's connect. We are looking for mentors and investors who want to back a dedicated team. #DehatiAi #AgriTech #Pakistan #ArtificialIntelligence #StartupLife #CoFounder

Shift of Value Equivalents: From Calorie to Teraflop 1. Fundamental Shift The history of civilization is a sequence of shifting value equivalents: grain, metals, fiat, bytes. The fundamental basis, however, has always been the calorie. A scenario where 1 TFLOPS becomes more expensive than 1 kg of flour marks a phase transition—the absolute alienation of humanity from primary biological resources in favor of algorithmic control. 2. Inversion of Base and Superstructure In classical economics, food is the base and digital systems are mere tools for efficiency. A cost inversion flips their positions: Agritech Dependency: Modern agriculture cannot function without satellite monitoring, precision NPK calculation, genetic modeling, and autonomous machinery. Logistical Luxury: When data processing costs more than grain, computing the delivery logistics consumes more resources than synthesizing the food itself. 3. Techno-Feudalism & Algorithmic Thrombosis A shift in primary value creates a rigid hierarchy: Node Owners: Operators of compute infrastructure and energy become sole issuers of value, establishing FLOPS as the reserve currency. Infrastructure Priority: Power grids prioritize compute clusters over food processing, as a kilowatt-hour spent on matrix operations yields higher returns. Loss of Connectivity: High optimization costs collapse supply chains. Local surpluses coincide with global famine as complex networks fragment into isolated, pre-industrial enclaves. 4. Current Price Parity (2026) Physical calories maintain absolute economic dominance over compute: 1 kg Wheat Flour (EU Retail): €0.80 — €1.50 1 TFLOPS-hour (NVIDIA H100): ~$0.003 (FP16) / €0.03–€0.05 (FP32) Compute remains 20 to 30 times cheaper than grain. The bottleneck is not silicon supply, but grid power availability. Core Takeaway: If a teraflop becomes more expensive than flour, the physical world will reclaim dominance by starving the power grid. The primary task of systems engineering is preventing algorithmic overhead from exceeding the value of the life it supports.
