𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆, 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗙𝗢 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗚𝗘𝗚 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹. After 20 years in finance, this is a deliberate move. Most of my career sat in construction, manufacturing and agriculture, including 14 years at Liviero. That work taught me how projects actually get built, funded and paid for. I am now applying it to something I believe in. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗚𝗘𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 MGEG is a regenerative biomass energy business. We grow Mackay Variety BanaGrass and convert it into boiler-ready fuel and advanced carbon products that displace coal in industrial heat. The opportunity is substantial. South African industry burns coal for process heat because until now there has been no fuel that competes on delivered cost. Our job is to change that, and we are building the projects that do it across four geographies. That is where I come in. I am building the economics that make these projects fundable: feasibility models across the portfolio, feedstock supply economics, and a delivered cost engine that turns yield, moisture and calorific value into a landed cost per gigajoule. That last number is the one that matters, because the honest test of a biomass project is not the technology. It is whether the fuel lands under the coal price at the boiler door. Ours does. Now we build. 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗬𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗫 𝗘𝗫𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦 Alongside MGEG, I founded AgriDynamix, a farm management, carbon MRV and supply chain platform. The problem is simple. Smallholder farmers sit at the base of almost every agricultural value chain and capture the least of it. Not because they produce less value, but because they cannot measure it, prove it or trade on it. No record of yield. No verified carbon. No data a buyer or financier will accept. AgriDynamix closes that gap: farm management tools, MRV that stands up to scrutiny, and a bridge into the supply chain so the farmer is a counterparty rather than a price taker. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 Decarbonisation only works if the numbers hold up and the farmer at the bottom of the supply chain gets paid. Every "simple" app flow we design quietly assumes literacy in a language and a keyboard that a large part of rural India doesn't use.
