From coffee-fueled chaos to an AI-powered Agri-Agent! ☕🚀
My Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2025) journey was a masterclass in pressure, passion, and purpose. After a high-intensity run for 48 hours, our team lived and breathed the challenge of the 'Smart Crop Advisory System' (Govt. of Punjab Problem Statement).
The grind was real: late-night debugging sessions, pizza-fueled brainstorming, and the intense sprint to make the complex simple.
The Breakthrough: Turning our ambitious blueprint into the "Unified Agri Agent"—a multi-functional tool designed to uplift farmers. Seeing our solution, from the initial lines of code to the final UI, deliver accurate predictions with greater accuracy (like that crucial "First irrigation" date) was the ultimate reward and generating a working Farmer Calendar was the ultimate adrenaline rush.
The Problem: Lack of consolidated, localised, and intelligent advisory tools for farmers.
Our Solution: A single, AI-powered interface that offers:
1. Precision Crop Recommendation (Based on the type of soil, cropping season and area data).
2. Instant Pest/Disease Detection (With greater accuracy).
3. Price & Yield Prediction.
4. Automated Farmer Calendar.
The best part? We powered through, hit our goal, and successfully submitted the complete project to the SIH portal. That feeling of successful execution is what hackathons are all about!
Massive shout-out to my incredible team(AGRIJYOTI) and my teammates Sahithi Rithvika Katakam, Paladugu Rishika Chowdary, Saipriya Banchode, Srinidhi Edulakanti & Gujjala Prijeshni for the resilience, dedication, hustle and technical brilliance. We walked into the hackathon as students and walked out as battle-tested innovators. This certificate isn't just an acknowledgement of efforts; it’s a testament to the power of rapid prototyping and collective innovation.
