    La fin de la sécheresse (météorologique) a été marquée par le début de la saison des orages méditerranéens offrant un spectacle grandiose durant l'intégralité de la nuit passée. Quelques centaines de photos entre l'Hortus (ici à droite) et le Pic Saint Loup (ici sortant du nuage à gauche), dont de nombreux coups de foudre ramifiés !     On enchaîne. Il est maintenant très probable que nous allons vivre l'El-Nino le plus intense depuis le début de son observation sur Terre (et surement depuis des siècles). Les premiers effets se font sentir avec un décrochage total des températures mondiales. Le mois d'août 2026 pourrait être le mois d'août le plus chaud sur Terre depuis le début des mesures. Nous ne sommes qu'à 0.11°C du record absolu mondial de température et 0.01°C du record absolu de la surface des océans. La méditerranée enchaîne les records absolus de température avec une canicule marine qui dure depuis des semaines avec jusqu'à +3 à +6°C d'anomalie. Les derniers relevés montrent qu'avec une moyenne de 28.5°C, la surface de la mer Méditerranée vient de battre son record absolu de température. En d'autres termes, la mer Méditerranée n'a jamais été aussi chaude tous mois confondus. Ce n'est que le début. Nous sommes partis pour 1 an d'incroyables records à l'échelle planétaire.

I’m excited to share my latest IoT + Machine Learning project: 📌 “Real-Time Soil Nutrition Monitoring System Using IoT and Machine Learning” 🌱 This system helps farmers monitor soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and nutrient levels in real time — and predicts NPK values using machine learning, providing fertilizer and crop recommendations through a web dashboard. As we close this chapter, I wanted to recap the 3 biggest themes that emerged: 1. The Data-Driven Farm is Here: From soil sensors to satellite imagery, the farm of the future runs on real-time data. The key challenge is no longer collection, but integration and actionable insights. 2. Sustainability is a Business Imperative: AgriTech isn't just about yield. Precision agriculture, water management, and biologicals are proving that profitability and planetary health can go hand-in-hand. 3. The Human Element is Irreplaceable: Technology is a tool, not a replacement for the farmer's intuition. 🌱 I taught a plant to slide into my DMs when it’s thirsty. Now it hydrates itself — no human, no waste, no guesswork. 💧 40% of irrigation water never touches a root. That’s 150,000,000,000,000 L/year — enough to fill a lake. Our counter-move: a ₹1,200 ESP32 that never sleeps, never forgets, never over-waters. 👀 What the plant “sees” • Soil moisture every 100 ms • Battery & pump health in real time ⚙️ What the plant “does” • Relay ON at < 30 % moisture • Relay OFF at 35 % → 5 % dead-band = no oscillation • Pushes data to Google Sheets over Wi-Fi for live dashboards 💧 30 % water saved 🌱 ± 5 % moisture stability ⚡ < 1 s response 🎓 Lesson textbooks skip - Calibrate in the exact soil you’ll farm. The textbook said 50 % — the basil disagreed at 42 %. Ag-tech doesn’t need a $2 M drone swarm. Tech Seva Ideathon finalists🥳 Thrilled to share that our team Codeblooded participated in the Tech Seva Ideathon organized by Eli Lilly and Company at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus on 7th November 2025 as part of the ATMoS'25 fest. The theme we chose was “Kisan Salah – Tech for Agriculture.” Out of 500+ participants, we were among the teams that advanced to the final round, successfully presenting our AI-driven solution designed to deliver real-time, hyper-local, and language-inclusive agricultural advisories for farmers across India.
