UX Research + Market Research = Better Products As I dive deeper into the world of design and research (market),I began to ponder on how both research are interwoven , how they work and complement each other. Market research helps identify what people need :for example, discovering that smallholder farmers want a simple digital tool to monitor their crops and detect diseases. UX research then explores how they actually use it, how they navigate the app, what frustrates them and understanding their needs. In short , it is finding out what actually works for the users. Together, they bridge business goals and human experience, helping create products that are both relevant to the market and valuable to real users. It’s not UX vs Market Research. 🚜✨ Drone Demonstration for Crop Protection! at Belsar, Tal. Purandar, a practical of pesticide spraying using drones was successfully conducted in Tur (Pigeon Pea) and Dafal (Double Bean) crops. Farmers highlighted that in tall crops like Tur, Maize (5–7 feet height), Sugarcane, and various fruit crops, spraying pesticides manually using back-mounted pumps is extremely laborious and time-consuming. In such conditions, drone spraying proves to be an excellent and efficient alternative, reducing physical strain while ensuring uniform coverage.
