On enchaĂźne.

🚀 Thrilled to Announce Our 2nd Place Win for Krishi Sakhi’s AI-Powered Architecture! I’m excited to share that our team secured 2nd Place at the Idea Spark Expo 2025, organized by The Presidency School of Computer Science and the SIGMA Club. Our project, Krishi Sakhi, is an AI-based farming assistant built with a strong focus on backend engineering, scalability, and multimodal AI integration. My primary work revolved around designing and implementing the core architecture, which included: 🔧 Scalable Django Backend Designed robust APIs, secure routing, and modular services optimized for low-device and rural network conditions. đŸŽ„ AI Video Analysis Pipeline Built a complete processing layer for farmer-uploaded field videos — including compression, frame extraction, and structured analysis for crop health scoring. 🧠 Gemini AI Integration Connected video, image, and voice inputs into one unified pipeline. Ensured consistent prompt engineering and efficient model responses. 📉 Market Trend Module Integrated a trend-based forecasting system that predicts price movement based on local mandi patterns. đŸŒŠïž Weather Decision Engine Converted raw weather data into actionable recommendations like “Spray/Don’t Spray” and “Irrigate/Skip Irrigation.” 📜 Farm History & Insights Structured all historical inputs — videos, diagnoses, advisories — into clean, trackable data for future predictions. This award is meaningful because our system goes beyond a prototype — it’s engineered to scale, adapt, and solve real agricultural problems using multimodal AI and backend design. A huge thank you to Vyshnavi T N and Manoj Kumar C for the teamwork and effort throughout the build. Special thanks to Priyanki Dutta Ma’am and SigmaClub Presidency for their guidance and support. 🙌 Looking forward to pushing deeper into AI engineering and building solutions that create measurable impact. đŸš€đŸŒŸ #AI #BackendEngineering #Agritech #GeminiAI #Django#IdeaSparkExpo2025 #KrishiSakhi #InnovationEngineering #SoftwareArchitecture #TeamAchievement

Women smallholder farmers are at the heart of India’s food security, and Direct-Seeded Rice (DSR) is giving them a powerful new lever to build profitability, resilience and dignity in their work. Field learning with women farmers Walking through this DSR field with a group of women farmers, what stands out is not just the crop stand, but the confidence in their eyes. DSR is reducing the drudgery of manual puddling and transplanting, freeing women from back‑breaking labour and long hours in standing water. Why DSR matters for women - Lower labour demand and mechanised sowing mean women can invest more time in family, education and other income activities, instead of peak‑season transplanting stress. - Water and input savings under DSR make rice cultivation more climate‑resilient and less risky for resource‑poor households, where women often manage day‑to‑day farm decisions. From beneficiaries to decision‑makers When women lead trial plots, participate in field days and compare DSR performance with their traditional practices, they become champions of change in their villages. Their feedback on varieties, weed management and sowing windows directly shapes how solutions are refined for smallholder realities. Call to action Scaling DSR with a strong gender lens is not just an agronomic intervention; it is a pathway to economic agency and leadership for millions of women farmers. If you are working in agri‑value chains, development or policy, let’s collaborate to ensure every DSR initiative intentionally includes, listens to and invests in women on the frontlines of food production. đŸ„‡ Honored with the GOLD MEDAL by Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan | Driving Edge-AI for “Krushi Vikash V2 I’m incredibly proud to share that my research paper, “Robo-AI in Precision Agriculture: A Robotic AI Framework for Distinguishing Pathological Stagnation from Hormonal Acceleration in Arboreal Systems,” has been awarded the prestigious Gold Medal by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India. Receiving this honor from Hon’ble Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the 32nd Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and 23rd Minister of Rural Development, was a defining moment in my journey. His acknowledgment of this framework as a key automation pillar for the upcoming “Krushi Vikash V2” (RKVY) initiative reinforces the transformative role of AI in India’s agricultural advancements This research tackles the complexity of biological growth modeling, traditionally represented by non-linear Sigmoidal Growth Functions. My framework introduces a new approach where LiDAR-equipped autonomous agents detect rare “Linearization Events” — temporary transitions where the curve simplifies to co-linear tangent Using Hyperspectral Edge Computing, the system analyzes second-order growth behavior to differentiate two visually similar but biologically opposite conditions: Pathological Stagnation (Necrosis): Natural decay causes the slope m to approach zero. Hormonal Acceleration (Artificial Stimulation): Chemical intervention drives m sharply upward, overriding natural biological slowdown. This enables real-time, non-invasive classification of crop health versus artificial enhancement — capability that will now support precision farming at a national scale. This recognition is shared with the ecosystem that shaped my path: -> SAM University — for the foundational academic stage -> University of Delhi — for nurturing my research perspective -> EY — for enabling hands-on exploration of advanced Data Science architectures ->Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare — for bridging AI research with ground-level implementation Special thanks to: 👉 Abhilash Mishra (application process base revised and development) 👉 Rahul M Khed (end to end deployment and documentation) #ArtificialIntelligence #DataScience #PrecisionAgriculture #GoldMedal #KrushiVikashV2 #ShivrajSinghChouhan #GovernmentOfIndia #Robotics #EdgeAI #Innovation #AgriTech #Research #UniversityOfDelhi #SAMUniversity #EY
