

As part of the International Training Course on âFostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Agriculture for Sustainable Developmentâ organized by ICRISAT, Patancheru, a delegation of 34 international participants from 21 countries visited Nutrihub ICAR-IIMR on 24th November 2025.
The team was oriented on Nutrihub ICAR-IIMRâs mandate, millet research, and incubation ecosystem. Johnson Stanley, CEO, Nutrihub, interacted with the participants and highlighted the importance of millets, Nutrihubâs efforts in agripreneurship promotion, technology transfer, capacity-building, and startup acceleration.
Mr. V. Sandeep Kumar, ABM, briefed the delegation on incubation facilities, startup support services, funding linkages, and millet-based technologies developed at Nutrihub.
The team also visited the Common Facility Centre, where Mohammed Abdul Mannan SRF, explained the Primary Processing Unit and demonstrated millet innovations. The participants appreciated Nutrihubâs contributions toward agritech entrepreneurship and millet-based solutions.
This visit further strengthened global learning and underscored the international relevance of millets for sustainable agriculture.
