On enchaîne.

#Agritech #Agronomia #AgroTech #AgriculturaDePrecisao #LoRa #ESP32 #SENAR #InternetDasCoisas #IoT #AgronomiaNaPratica

YOUR CROPS ARE STARVING WHILE THE #FERTILIZER SITS IN THE SOIL — HERE'S WHY I've walked into too many farms where the owner swears they're "feeding" their crops right, yet the plants look pale, stunted, dropping flowers before fruit even forms. Nine times out of ten, the problem isn't that they're not applying fertilizer. It's that they're applying the wrong TYPE at the wrong STAGE. Granular fertilizers sit in the soil and release slowly — sometimes too slowly, sometimes unevenly, sometimes not at all if your soil pH is against you. That's the gap Water Soluble Fertilizers (WSF) close. They dissolve completely, leave zero residue, and get absorbed almost instantly through drip, fertigation, or foliar spray. No waiting. No guessing. But here's what separates the farmers who profit from WSF and those who waste money on it: TIMING and RATIO. ➡️ 19:19:19 is your all-rounder — use it from planting through vegetative growth. ➡️ 12:61:00 (MAP) fires up root development early. ➡️ 13:40:13 pushes flowering and bud formation. ➡️ 00:52:34 (MKP) locks in fruit set and size. ➡️ 13:00:45 (Potassium Nitrate) is your ripening and shelf-life booster. ➡️ Calcium Nitrate stops that heartbreaking fruit cracking. ➡️ Magnesium Sulphate greens up your leaves when photosynthesis is struggling. ➡️ Micronutrient WSF (Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu, B, Mo) fixes deficiencies most farmers never even test for. The mistake I see most? Farmers applying flowering-stage fertilizer during vegetative growth, or dumping potassium too early. Wrong nutrient, wrong window — and yield suffers even though "fertilizer was applied." Rule of thumb: 1–2g per liter for drip/fertigation, 2–3g per liter for foliar spray, applied morning or evening — never under harsh sun. Always use clean water. Flush your drip lines after every application. Store away from sunlight and moisture. This isn't theory. This is the difference between a harvest that pays your bills and one that leaves you wondering what went wrong. Which of these 10 are you currently using — and at what stage? Drop it in the comments, I'll tell you if your timing is right. #Agriculture #Agribusiness #Fertilizer #CropNutrition #SmartFarming #Farming #Agronomy #FoodSecurity #SustainableAgriculture #Horticulture #PlantNutrition #AgriTech #FarmersOfLinkedIn #CropProduction #YieldOptimization

Why Buying a Tractor on 'Influence' Failed—And How KhetiGaadi Built India’s CarDekho for Farm Machinery 🚜⚙️ For decades, Indian farmers bought heavy machinery based on village influence or dealer pressure—often investing in 50 HP tractors that were oversized, overpriced, and ill-suited for their actual landholding size Pune-based KhetiGaadi (founded by Pravin Shinde and Vishnu Dhas) set out to fix this. They built India's first digital discovery, comparison, and trading platform dedicated to farm mechanization—connecting over 4 million farmers with verified new and used tractors, implements, financing, and OEM dealers The Playbook: Transparent Digital Discovery: Replaced word-of-mouth buying with standardized specifications, video reviews, and side-by-side comparison tools across all major tractor brands in 10 regional languages. Used Machinery & Embedded Finance: Liquifies used equipment inventory by offering verified listings alongside instant tractor loan and insurance processing. Phygital Agri-Malls: Complements digital lead-generation with physical "KhetiGaadi Universe" hubs—providing live machinery touchpoints, accessories, and farmer learning spaces. The Catch is...... Digital tractor marketplaces bring transparency to horsepower and price, but in high-value horticulture, they run into a structural gap: The Crop-Implement Match. Orchard Geometry vs. Standard HP: Most marketplace searches prioritize standard 40–60 HP broadacre tractors. However, fruit orchards (grapes, pomegranates, citrus, guava) feature tight row spacing (1.5–2.5 meters) and low trellises. Standard tractors compact orchard soils and snag drip lines, requiring specialized narrow-track mini-tractors. PTO & Hydraulic Compatibility: In horticulture, the tractor is merely a power engine for the implement. A grower running an air-assisted orchard sprayer or flail mower needs exact PTO (Power Take-Off) RPMs and hydraulic oil flow rates. Listing a mini-tractor without validating its hydraulic capacity against specific orchard sprayers or mulchers leads to mismatched farm investments. #Agritech #KhetiGaadi #FarmMechanization #Horticulture #SupplyChain #Agribusiness #Agtech #CleanTech

Me and my friends recently worked on a project called Smart Farm Assistant — a web-based smart farming platform designed to make farm monitoring and management easier using IoT, AI, and automation. We wanted to build something that goes beyond just displaying sensor values, so we created a platform where a farmer can actually monitor the farm, understand what's happening, and take action from one place. Here’s what we built 👇 🌦️ Farm Dashboard 1)Weather and overall farm health 2) Temperature, humidity, soil moisture & light intensity monitoring 🌾 Zone Monitoring 1) Separate monitoring for different farm zones 2) Safe, Warning & Critical status indicators 3) Real-time pump/relay status 💧 Smart Irrigation 1) Soil moisture monitoring 2) Pump ON/OFF control 3) Irrigation scheduling for morning and evening 🤖 AI Farm Assistant 1) Ask farming-related questions 2) Get recommendations based on farm conditions 3) Zone health and watering suggestions 4) Multilingual support 🍃 Crop Doctor Upload a picture of a plant/leaf 1)Detect possible crop diseases using AI/ML 2)Get recommended treatment steps 🔐 Farmer Authentication 1)Registration & Login 2) Farmer profile and farm details Working on this project with my friends was a great learning experience. From designing the interface to connecting different features and thinking about how technology could actually be useful for farmers, we learned a lot throughout the process. This project gave us hands-on experience with AI/ML, IoT concepts, web development, automation, data monitoring, and building a real-world problem-solving application. There’s still a lot we want to improve and add, but this is a start! 🚀🌱 Built with curiosity, teamwork, and a lot of debugging. 😅 #SmartFarmAssistant #SmartFarming #AgriTech #IoT #AI #MachineLearning #WebDevelopment #SmartIrrigation #TeamProject #BTechProject #AgricultureTechnology #Innovation

🌱 Smart & Sustainable Pakistan: Leveraging IoT & AgriTech for ESG Impact Proud that Sustainadility served as the Sustainability Partner CxO Global Forum #elevate2026 for a rich panel discussion exploring how Pakistan can turn IoT, AgriTech, and AI into real ESG outcomes. Representing Sustainadility, Sajjeed Aslam shared his perspective on why sustainability needs to be treated as a business and economic imperative, not a compliance checkbox. His key message: the technologies already exist, precision agriculture, smart irrigation, drone-based crop monitoring, satellite imaging, what Pakistan needs now is an operating model, driving corporate farming backed by the policy interventions. The investment appetite to scale already exist, a data backed, bankable projects are still missing in the ecosystem to drive the available investment into transactions. A few themes that stood out from the conversation: 🔹 Agriculture is Pakistan's largest economic sector, and largest carbon emitter, and the biggest ESG opportunity. AI-driven crop analytics and smart farm management platforms can lift yields while cutting resource waste. 🔹 IoT is the quiet enabler. Connected sensors for water, energy, and environmental monitoring are some of the most practical, deployable solutions available today. 🔹 ESG is a competitive advantage, not a cost centre. Companies that measure and report performance well are the ones attracting serious investment, including from climate funds and development finance institutions. 🔹 Climate resilience needs digital + green infrastructure together, from smart grids to flood management systems to carbon-smart agriculture. 🔹 Collaboration is the real unlock. Government, industry, academia, startups, and farmers all have to move in the same direction for any of this to scale nationally. The panel closed with a challenge to every speaker: name one national initiative that could make Pakistan smarter and more sustainable, starting tomorrow. The common thread across every answer? None of it works without stronger operating model, policy, patient investment, and genuine cross-sector collaboration. #ESG #Sustainability #AgriTech #IoT #ClimateAction #Pakistan #SmartAgriculture #GreenInfrastructure #Innovation #Investment
