🚜 « Encore un qui veut me vendre une VMC pour ma serre… » C’est une remarque que j’entends de plus en plus souvent auprès des maraîchers. Et je les comprends. À force d’être sollicités par des commerciaux qui proposent tous la même solution, parfois sans même connaître les spécificités de l’exploitation, beaucoup de producteurs deviennent méfiants. Pourtant, le sujet de la ventilation reste essentiel. Une serre qui souffre d’un excès d’humidité peut connaître : ❌ davantage de condensation ❌ plus de maladies cryptogamiques ❌ des pertes de rendement ❌ une qualité de production moins homogène La vraie question n’est donc pas : « Faut-il installer une VMC ? » Mais plutôt : « Mon exploitation a-t-elle réellement besoin d’une amélioration de sa gestion climatique ? » Un professionnel sérieux commence toujours par : ✅ comprendre les problématiques de la serre ✅ analyser les conditions de culture ✅ évaluer les gains potentiels ✅ proposer une solution uniquement lorsqu’elle est pertinente Toutes les serres n’ont pas besoin des mêmes équipements. La confiance se construit par l’écoute, le diagnostic et la transparence. 🌱 𝐔𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐢 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 🪏C’est ce matin qu’a eu lieu la première pelletée de terre des futures serres pédagogiques du Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. ☘La Corporation du Fort St-Jean est fière d’être partenaire de cette initiative qui permettra de semer les apprentissages de demain dans un environnement axé sur l’innovation, l’agriculture durable et l’autonomie alimentaire. 🤩Marie-Pier Bombardier, notre directrice des ressources humaines et membre du conseil d’administration de la Fondation du Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, était présente pour souligner cette étape importante aux côtés des partenaires, des dignitaires et de l’équipe du Cégep, qui avait visiblement de quoi se réjouir! 🌿Les nouvelles serres accueilleront leurs premiers étudiants dès la rentrée cet automne. 🌼Il ne reste plus qu'à laisser le projet pousser et fleurir juste à temps pour la rentrée!
