Excited to announce that I’m part of Cohort 2 of the intensive 2-week ISSAM Training for new Mechanised Service Providers (MSPs)! 🚜
The program runs from April 16th to 30th at the Center for Excellence, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Samaru campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen my skills in agricultural mechanization, powered by a powerful collaboration between Women in Mechanized Agriculture (WIMA),TracTrac and Mastercard foundation.
I’m looking forward to hands-on learning, networking with fellow MSPs, and gaining practical insights that will help drive efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in Nigeria’s agriculture sector — especially for smallholder farmers.
Grateful for the chance to grow and contribute. Can’t wait to bring these learnings back and make real impact!
What’s one way you think mechanization can transform farming in Nigeria? Drop your thoughts below 👇 I’d love to connect with others in agribusiness, mechanization, or women in agriculture.

🌾 From Code to Crops: Why Farmers Need Translators, Not Just Technology.
In the race to digitize agriculture, we often focus so much on the "how" and forget the "who." One critical gap remains: translation. It’s not just about language. It’s about translating complex code, intricate data systems, and sophisticated UI/UX designs into simple, relatable experiences that fit into a farmer’s daily life.
For a smallholder farmer, adopting new tech isn’t just about having the tool; it’s about clarity, relevance, and, most importantly, trust. Bridging this gap requires more than just a sleek app. It demands a well-structured human interface. This is where a three-layer system becomes essential to making innovation work:
1. Developers – The architects who build the digital platforms, systems, and tools that form our foundation.
2. Intermediaries – The bridge. They translate technical capabilities into practical, field-ready frameworks, leading usability testing and training to ensure solutions are intuitive and truly fit-for-purpose.
3. Last-Mile Actors – The heartbeat of the system. They convert these tools into everyday actions for farmers, while feeding back the ground-level insights that keep the system evolving.
Impact happens when innovation isn’t lost in translation. At the end of the day, true success isn’t measured by how many tools we build, it’s measured by how well they work for the people who feed the world. 🌱

Today, I had the opportunity to spend the day with our Sales and Commercial team during the successful launch of the new seed variety, DK 86‑43, at the 2026 Agritech Expo.
As a support staff member, the experience gave me a deeper appreciation of our products as I listened to farmers share their positive feedback and praise the exceptional yields they continue to achieve from our various seed varieties.
The turnout from farmers was overwhelming, with many showing up in large numbers to support our products during the exhibition. This strong engagement is a clear reflection of the trust and confidence farmers have in our products.
Bayer is truly making its footprint known and continues to live up to its mission of “Health for all, Hunger for none.”
I am grateful to the team for giving me the opportunity to be part of this important milestone.

I am incredibly proud to share that I recently represented our project, SQI-Smart, at the Hult Prize Morocco national competition held at the UM6P - University Mohammed VI Polytechnic Benguerir.
Alongside my teammate "Sara El Aamri", we had the opportunity to pitch our IoT-driven precision irrigation system. Our mission is clear: using technology to tackle water scarcity and provide farmers with data-driven resource management. 💧🌱
They say entrepreneurship isn't easy, and this experience proved it. Between final technical tweaks and perfecting the presentation, I managed only one hour of sleep before the big day. But being tired wasn't enough to stop me—the passion for this project and the energy of the UM6P campus kept me going until the last slide!
A huge thank you to the support system at UM6P:

When Technology Embraces the Roots! 🌱💻
Have you ever imagined a farmer managing their field from a smartphone screen? Or drones becoming the new guardians of our crops? 🧐
Farming is no longer just about plows and hoes; we have entered the era of "Smart Agriculture," where technology meets nature to ensure a secure and sustainable food future. Here’s how tech is changing the fields:
Artificial Intelligence (AI): Analyzing soil health and predicting diseases before they even happen.
Internet of Things (IoT): Smart sensors measuring soil moisture and sending instant alerts when plants need water, saving millions of liters.
Drones: Surveying vast areas and spraying crops with extreme precision, reducing waste and protecting the environment.
Precision Farming: Using satellites and Big Data to boost productivity and lower costs.
Why does this shift matter?
Because the world faces climate challenges and resource scarcity, and technology is the key to producing more food with fewer resources 🌍✨.
Investing in "AgriTech" is not just a luxury; it’s a necessity to achieve Food Security for future generations. 🚀🍎
Share your thoughts in the comments.. Do you believe technology can replace the experience of a traditional farmer, or is it just a supporting tool? 👇

For over a century, industrial drying meant heat.
Nobody questioned it — not because it was optimal, but because nothing credible existed to challenge it at scale. That assumption is now being dismantled. I've been working closely with a company that has built an entirely different approach to one of the most energy-intensive processes in agriculture and waste processing. No heat. No rotating drums. No fuel infrastructure. Just controlled acoustic shock waves that target water molecules directly — removing moisture while leaving everything valuable in the material completely intact. The economics of what this unlocks are striking. Manure, for example, is approximately 90% water by weight. Operators currently spend $90 per ton to dispose of it. The same material — once the water is removed acoustically rather than thermally — becomes a premium dry product worth thousands of dollars per ton in specialty fertiliser, nutraceutical, or pet food applications. That is not an incremental improvement. That is a complete inversion of the cost and revenue equation. The technology is operational. Deployments are live across Europe and the United States. Inbound interest is active across Japan, Dubai, India, Australia, and North America. The IP is protected across multiple jurisdictions. And the commercial model — equipment-as-a-service and flow-rate pricing — is structured to convert what was previously a multi-million dollar capital expenditure into a predictable operational cost. Now raising a $10M Series A to accelerate commercial deployment and scale the platform across multiple verticals — agricultural waste, food processing byproducts, sargassum, and mining applications. We are working with a select group of investors on this round. If you allocate capital into deep-tech, circular economy, or industrial innovation — or you know someone who does — I'd welcome a conversation.
